He was born on January 23, 1951 in Topeka, KS to Helen Wince and Francis Turk, Michael Turk leaves behind to honor his memory: his wife, Nan Turk; daughters, Kelli Turk Ashcraft; sons, Todd Turk, sisters, Sharon Brennan; brothers, Randall Turk; grandchildren, Annie Ashcraft, Bailey Ashcraft and Carter Ashcraft; and numerous family members and friends. Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Helen, Father, Bud and brother Gil and Duane. When his nation called, he answered by joining the Army. He started his own A/C and Heating Business in the 80’s and ran the business for over 30 years. Mike loved his family and had a passion for all of his plants. He also loved to go on cruises as well as have pool parties/BBQs at his house. In his honor, there will be a visitation on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 10:00 am at Crowder Funeral Home in Webster, TX 111 W Medical Center Blvd. Webster, TX 77598. "Michelle Kay Higman, 79, of Hardin, Texas passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Memorial Herman Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She was born on October 27, 1944, in Seligman, Arizona to the late Elmo Edward Carr and Rose Joan Carr. Kay enjoyed the country way of life, and everything that it had to offer. She grew up as a cowgirl and enjoyed barrel racing, rodeos, and dancing. She lived the life of a rancher and made her career as a steel worker. Kay’s family would like to thank Magnolia Place in Liberty, Texas for the wonderful love and care they provided Kay in her time of need. Kay is preceded in death by parents; husband, W.A. Buck Higman; and son-in-law, Jeffery Lane Boze Kennedy; daughter-in-law, Tuyet White; and sister, Gloria Miller. Kay is survived by husband, William Edmondson of Hardin, Texas; daughters, Holly Nelson of Hardin, Texas and Jackie Kennedy of Lewisville, Arkansas; step-daughters, Lynn Higman Smith and husband Mike of Louisiana and Christie Edmondson Casillas and husband Mark of Hardin; step-son, Bobby Edmondson and wife Miranda of Kilgore, Texas; son-in-law, Jerry White of Kyle, Texas; and 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. "Kauri Nikolaj-Nikau Allala (born Robert Zachary Allala), 26, of Houston, TX, tragically passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Kauri was born on June 20th, 1997 to Alejandro Allala Sr. and Nora Elia Tamayo Allala in Houston, TX. Kauri graduated with an Associate of Arts and Science in Sign Language Interpretation and Translation from Houston Community College. He was an avid learner of languages such as Spanish, German, Japanese, French, Italian, and many others. He had a fond love for Hayao Miyazaki films in hopes that he would one day be able to travel to Japan. In his spare time, he wrote music. Kauri was a person living with high-functioning autism and suffered from anxiety and depression. To help him cope with his mental health he grew an attachment to his loyal, companion, and loving dog, Lady. Kauri (cow-ry) is a Maori name derived from a type of tree native to New Zealand\u0027s North Island that grows in the warm, northern part of the country - Auckland, the Coromandel Peninsula, and Northland. It is one of the largest and longest-living trees in the world. Kauri can live for 1,000 years or more; its trunk can be over 2 meters in diameter. Kauri was predeceased by George Domingo Allala (Grandfather), Raquel Allala (Grandmother), Roberto Tamayo Sr.(Grandfather), Saul Eduardo Mclaingarcia (brother-in-law), Albert Raymond Allala (Uncle), and Domingo Allala (Uncle). He is survived by Alejandro Allala Sr. and Nora Elia Tamayo Allala (parents); siblings, Alejandro Valdez (Raul Gomez), Nora Patricia Allala Calero (Aldofo Antonio Calero), Alejandro Allala Jr. (Melinda Elizabeth Davila), Melissa Carolina Allala (Nichole Jessica Duran); Brandon Saul Mclain (Nephew); Brianna Alexa Mclain (Niece); and several other surviving family members.
