"Jennifer M. "Jennie" Jackson, 55, of Plano, IL, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at her home. She was born June 3, 1968 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of James and Roseann (Sherman-May) Vlach and Stephen (Donna) May. She married her soulmate, Matthew L. Jackson on May 17, 2014 in Sandwich, IL. Jennie served on the Plano Police Commission and volunteered for the Sons of the American Legion in Plano. She loved traveling in their RV and going on Cruises. Jennie was obsessed with sea turtles, the Green Bay Packers, and Alabama football, Roll Tide! She was a proud cancer survivor. Jennie loved her fur babies, Buster, Kirbie, and Shiloh. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her six grandsons. She is survived by her husband, Matthew; her Pops, Stephen (Donna) May; her children, James Hufnagel, Jacob Hufnagel, and Mollie Hufnagel; her bonus children, Andrew (Jessie) Jackson, Adam (Ashley) Jackson, and Ashley (Alex Drolett) Jackson; her six grandsons, Keagan, Logan, Cooper, Ethan, Ryder, and Elijah; her sisters, Karen Plioplys, Elaina Guglielmo-Hodges, Ruthie Vlach, and Rachel Vlach; her brother, Tommy Vlach; her lifelong best friend, Kathleen Weiss; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her in-law's, John and Doskie Jackson. A Visitation will be held from 9:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Plano, IL. Following the visitation, a Memorial Service will be held in Jennie's honor at the funeral home in Plano, with Father Robert Conrad aka Father Bob officiating. Paula S. Jacobs: 76 years old of Paddock Lake, WI, formerly of Plano, IL passed away peacefully Monday October 16, 2023, at Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan, IL. She was born February 11, 1947, in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Lawrence and Shirley (nee Thielman) Sauve, living in Plano, IL for 27 years before settling in Paddock Lake, WI in 2000. Paula was a graduate of West Aurora High School, Aurora, IL, class of 1965. Before her retirement, Paula began her career as a key puncher for Western Electric, Montgomery, IL, later working for Safari Market, Yorkville, IL, and Little Rock Jewelers, Plano, IL. For many years, Paula worked at the after school care program for Kenosha Unified Schools, Pleasant Prairie, WI and volunteered at the Famil Resource Center, Zion, IL. Paula was an active member of Trinity Christian Church, Zion, IL, Harvest Chapel, Sandwich, IL, and First Lutheran Church, Plano, IL and was dedicated to her bible studies. She enjoyed: sewing, reading, spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs at their camper in Millbrook, IL, traveling to Door Co. WI, and Michigan, New England, and Canada with her friends, as well as, Colorado and Florida with her family. On July 11, 1970, she married Roger P. Jacobs in Aurora, IL. Survivors include: her husband of 53 years Roger; two children: Denise Jacobs of Madison, WI and Christopher Jacobs of Leland, IL; two grandchildren: Ava and Willa Jacobs; two sisters: Sheila Nicol of Ann Arbor, MI and Susan (Robert Rumbley) Sauve of Apollo Beach, FL; a nephew Andy Alt of Ann Arbor, MI; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her loving mother-in-law Agnes Jacobs. A Celebration of Paula's life will be held 7:00PM Friday November 10, 2023 at Trinity Christian Church 2600 Lewis Ave. Zion, IL 60099. Interment will be private.
