James Michael McGaha, passed away suddenly in Ft Worth, Texas, February 29th, 2024 and went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 69. Born on November 6th, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents James Leonard McGaha and Frankie Ella Weaver McGaha. James spent his early school years in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama near many close family members. James loved the outdoors, fishing in the Flint River, swimming in Lake Guntersville, and hunting in the wooded areas around Possum Holler, and playing in nearby cotton fields. The family returned to Texas in 1968, he attended schools in Ft Worth, Arlington, Weatherford, Littlefield, Boyd, graduating from Waxahachie High School, Waxahachie, TX in 1974.James served in the United States Air Force as a jet engine mechanic, he was stationed at Lackland AFB, TX; Champaign, Illinois; and Minot, North Dakota. He was employed in the aeronautical and oil industry as a jet engine mechanic, with Cummings Diesel, Sola, General Electric, and The Wood Group…After retiring, James enjoyed fishing with his brothers and his son and had dreams of moving to the country.He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Melvis Monserratt McGaha of Katy, TX; his son Christopher Michael McGaha of Dublin, Texas and his children Kaden Julian, Kylie McGaha, Kelcie McGaha, and Ezekiel Michael McGaha; daughter, Michelle McGaha Medina, husband Fernando Medina, and son Fernando Medina Jr. of St Louis, MO; and daughter Mirielle McGaha, of Katy, TX. His sister, Theresa Medlin, of Italy, Texas; Timothy McGaha and his wife Judy of New Braunfels, TX; Joseph Steven McGaha and his wife Karen of Nixon, TX; Denise McGaha Cornett and her husband Durham, of Waxahachie, TX; Terri Hulshouser, of Lubbock, TX. Lovingly remembered by 17 Nieces & Nephews; 37 Great Nieces & Nephews…and many family members and friends in the great States of Texas and Alabama.Visitation, will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 5th at 10 AM, services will follow immediately at 11 AM. Interment will be at Italy Cemetery, in Italy, Texas immediately following the services.

Clara was an amazing person who excelled at everything she did. She worked as a Secretary, Insurance Adjuster, Bonds Claim Manager and Assistant Vice President. Mimi was fun, loving, kind and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was a devote Catholic. She enjoyed golf, bowling, gambling and a nice glass of wine. Clara is preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Spangler, sisters, Patricia Randall, Nancy Walker, Sweet Pea Nesbitt, and Marilyn Nesbitt, brother, Micheal Nesbitt, and grandchild, Amanda Brown. Clara is survived by her son, James Spangler, daughters, Marilyn Hughes, Georgia Brown, Janice Stevens, and Marianne Tinberg, brother, Steven Nesbitt, and sister, Georgie Knox. Richard “Rick” Carrol Stave, 63, beloved husband, father, son, and grandfather, of Granbury, Texas, passed away late Friday evening, March 1, 2024 in Fort Worth.A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 10 A.M., on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Wiley Funeral Home, 400 Highway 377 East, in Granbury. Burial will be private.Rick was born on May 7, 1960, in Golden Valley, Minnesota, to Carrol and Barbara Stave. Rick married Rhonda Kubicek on Valentine’s Day 2007. He enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, singing, playing his guitar, and following his Colorado and Texas sports teams. A Master Electrician, Rick founded and owned his own business, RCS Electric Inc., in 2005, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Recently, Rick was the Chief Electrical Inspector for the City of Granbury. He thoroughly enjoyed his profession and loved the people he worked with. Most of all, Rick will be remembered for his strong Christian faith and for the love and devotion he had for his wife and children – whom he adored.Rick is survived by his wife, Rhonda; his children, Brett Stave, Ken (Morgan) Stave, and Nick Stave, Bethany (Jonathan) Jewell and Brandon (Erinn) Begier; his grandchildren, Olive, Cali, Carter, Kennedy, Kessley, Zoey, Ryan, Paisley, and Mesa; his mother, Barbara Stave; sister, Shelley (Guy) Bergstraser; brother, Doug (Elaine) Stave; by his niece and nephew; and by his in-laws, Frankie and Carole Kubicek.Rick was preceded in death by his father, Carrol Stave and by his sons, John and Kevin Stave.
