Tony Acevedo Obituary

Tony Acevedo, 34 of Salisbury Mills, New York, passed away suddenly Thursday April 20, 2023 at his home. He was born in Staten Island on June 23, 1988, a son of Luis Acevedo of Berwick and Aurea Ortiz of Tobyhanna. Tony was educated in Staten Island and spent his working career in the residential construction industry. Tony was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed rap music, sneakers and cars. Surviving in addition to his parents, are his children, Madison Acevedo of Staten Island, Tony Acevedo Jr. of Tobyhanna, Nathaniel Acevedo of Bronx, New York, Antonio Santos of Staten Island, Dreame Monplaisir and D'Zaue Monplaisir of Brooklyn, siblings, Megan Acevedo and her spouse, Eddie DeJesus of Tobyhanna, Aurea Irisarry of Tobyhanna, Luis N. Acevedo and his spouse, Marlene of Tobyhanna, Luis L. Acevedo and his spouseAshley of Jackson, New Jersey, Jesus Cruz and his spouse, Julianna of Tobyhanna and David Diaz also of Tobyhanna, and several extended family members, A viewing will be held on Wednesday April 26, 2023 from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. in the Yanac Funeral & Cremation Service, Inc. 35 Sterling Road Mount Pocono. A memorial service will be conducted at 8:00 P. M. in the funeral home. Interment will be held on Thursday April 27, 2023 at 1:00 P. M. in Pinelawn Cemetery 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale New York 11735.
