Tommy Speers Obituary

Graveside Service for Tommy Lynn Speer, 67 of Vinemont will be Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 2:00PM at Jones Family Cemetery with Bro. Alec Zimmerman officiating with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:30AM-1:30PM at the funeral home. Mr. Speer was born December 5, 1955 in Jefferson County to Benjamin Franklin Speer and Gerda Dann Speer. Tommy passed away Saturday, April 22, 2-23 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brother, Kenneth Speer. Tommy was a loving Husband, and Father. He helped Many People and loved his horses. Tommy retired from UPS after 38 years and was a Teamster. He was President of the Back Country Trail Riders of North Alabama. Survivors include: Wife-Judy Speer Son T. J. Speer (Priscilla) 2 Daughters-Leigh Ann Busby (Jason) Lori Boger (John) Brother-Barry McCown (Teresa) Sister-Joy Ann England (Calvin) 7 Grandchildren-Brody Speer, Travis Speer, Jase Busby, Jaleigh Busby, Banks Busby, Bradley Boger, Maltie Boger. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Speer Jr, Kevin Speer, Steve Parker, Brody Speer, Geno Ortiz, and Chris Zimmerman.
