Mary Chapin was welcomed Home into the arms of her Lord and Savior on November 29, 2023, at the age of 91. She was born to parents Alvin and Amanda O’Farrell on May 18, 1932, in Marvin, South Dakota. Mary came from a loving and big family she was the third oldest out of 13 siblings. She was ultra conservative and involved in her local politics. She was known as a devoted republican by many who knew Mary. Mary had a green thumb, especially when it came to her plants and flowers. She was very caring, supportive, outspoken, and liked to do things her way. Mary is met in Heaven by her loving husband, Robert Chapin; parents, Alvin, and Amanda O’Farrell; brothers: Jack, Jim, Dick, and Dean; and sister, Ellen Hudson. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kathleen Price and husband Douglas; son, Dewey Chapin and wife Marie; grandchildren: Amanda and husband Patrick, April and soon to be husband Nate, Jenica and husband Mark, Caleb, Masey, and Luke; great grandchildren: Hannah, Harper, Lane, Lennox, and Aubri; sisters: Linda Roberts, Caroline Ammann, and Doris Slinder; brothers: Raymond, Bill, Terry, and Larry; many nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family and friends who will all miss Mary dearly. The family will receive friends from 10:00a. m. through 11:00a. m. on Monday December 11, 2023, at Community Bible Church 2301 Texas Dr. Irving, Texas 75062. Cheri Micheal Martin, born on February 6, 1969, in Bedford, TX, bid farewell to this world on November 11th, 2023. She was the cherished daughter of Jesse Mitchell and Sandra Dennis. Cheri spent her formative years in Irving, where she graduated from LD Bell High School. Cheri was a woman of many passions and hobbies that brought joy and fulfillment to her life. From the thunderous sound of strikes at the bowling alley to the intensity of hockey, football, and basketball games, she reveled in the thrill of sports. Fishing brought her solace by the water, while the excitement of the casino and the warmth of her cooking filled her days. Most importantly, her heart swelled with love when she spent time with her beloved husband, children, and grandchildren. Cheri is survived by her devoted husband, David Martin, and leaves behind a legacy of love through her three children: Sean Littlejohn, Ryan Littlejohn, and Candice Littlejohn. She is also survived by three stepchildren: Taylor Martin, Nicholas Martin, and Dallas Martin. Cheri's memory will be cherished by her mother, Sandra Dennis, and stepfather, Ken Dennis. Eight grandchildren, two brothers--Jesse Wayne Mitchell and Kris Dennis--along with numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws, all hold special places in their hearts for Cheri. Cheri is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Lee Mitchell, and her grandparents, Lee and Eula Eggleston. As we mourn the loss of a vibrant soul, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by love, laughter, and cherished moments. Jennifer (League) Jacobs, 43, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 27, 2023. She was born in Dallas Texas on September 8, 1980, to mother Suzanne Crouch, and father, Carl League. Jennifer grew up in Irving, Texas where she attended Nimitz High School, graduating in 1999. Jennifer was a skilled and talented musician, playing both the violin and viola. In high school, Jennifer was part of the national Who’s Who for her musical skills in orchestra. She was also one of the youngest members of the Irving New Philharmonic Orchestra. Jennifer was very giving and had a quick wit about her. She will be remembered for many things, but above all, for being a loving mother, wife, daughter, and friend. Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandmother, Doris Zellner Crouch.
