Tina Lowe Obituary

Tina LaRae Lowe, 67, of Ottumwa, died at 9:12 p. m. May 6, 2023 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center. She was born December 1, 1955 in Ottumwa to Henry and Margaret Steele Lowe. Tina married Dayton Lenth and they later divorced. Tina had worked as a CNA, as a telemarketer, had worked for BP, Caseys and Dollar General. She also had been a driver for the Amish. She enjoyed making quilts, flower gardening, crafts, attending car shows, swap meets and garage sales. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Tina is survived by her partner for the past 30 years, Larry "Hunk" Clark; her children, Daniela "Nellie" (Brian) Springer, Dannetta "Nettie" (Roger) Miller, Dayton "Boy" Lenth Jr. , James (Hailey) Canny, and Micah Canny; step-daughter, Ericka Fenton (Joshua Kurka); grandchildren, Jeffrey Cox, Johndavid Springer, Sephiroth Miller, Skye Miller, Henry Miller Guy "Vinny" Miller, Jasmine Lenth, Lilly Coulter, Annabelle Lenth, Dayton Lenth III, Harley Lenth; Hayden Canny, Gracelyn Canny, Quinley Canny and Zosia Canny; siblings, Obie Lowe, Jobie Lowe and Kelly Downing. She was preceded in death by brothers, Mike, David, William Sr. , Henry "Butch" and infant brother, Jack Lowe. Visitation will be open at 10 a. m. Thursday, May 11th, at Reece Funeral Home. The family will be present to greet friends from 4 p. m. to 6 p. m. Thursday. Funeral services will be 1 p. m. Friday, May 12th, at Reece Funeral Home with Chaplain Randy Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in Des Moines River Primitive Baptist Cemetery near Eldon. Memorials may be made to Heartland Humane Society.
