DILLON Thomas "Tom" Oliver Yarborough, 64, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Jean Booth and Tim Yarborough, siblings of Tom invite you to attend a memorial service at 2:00 p. m. Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Born in Dillon County, SC, he was the son of the late Oliver Yarborough and Ruth Cook Yarborough. He worked with Northside Timber & Hauling, and he loved fishing, hunting, and tinkering on stuff. Survivors include his twin brother, Tim Yarborough (Lisa) of Latta, SC; sister, Jean Booth of Florence, SC; and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver & Ruth Yarborough; brothers, Leverne "Peaches" Yarborough, and Danny Yarborough; and his sister, Patricia McCormick. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Calvary Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p. m. prior to the service at the church. Born in Dillon County, SC, April 18, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer Ivey and Julie Ivey. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, and was the widow of the late Carl Gene Scott. Survivors include her daughters, Kim Mobley (David), and Annette Rownd (Larry), both of Dillon; grandchildren, Jessica Rownd, and Carla Meekins (Bobby); great-grandchildren, Jordan Carter, MaKenna Meekins, and Eli Meekins; step-great-granddaughter, Kara Meekins; special friend, Lola Hyatt; special cousins, Dolores Keith and Rebecca Ingram.
