Dunlap – Patricia Ann Robbins, 86, of Dunlap, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. She was born on August 6, 1937, in Peoria, to the late Ivan and Margaret (Hargadine) Ruse. On December 7, 1957, she married Lloyd Wendell Robbins in Peoria. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2003.Survivors include three children, Jill Robbins Rosen of Broad Run, VA, Jacqueline (Richard) Deibner of Wyoming, IL, and James (Julie) Robbins of Great Mills, MD; nine grandchildren, Brian Arthur (Christianna) Coss, Daniel Lee Coss, Christaan Lloyd Deibner, Lindsey Edwin (Kristi) Deibner, Travis McKensie (Brittney) Deibner, Wesleyan Richard (Nola) Deibner, Katherine Margaret (Alex) Moss, Jacob Lloyd Robbins, and Joshua James Robbins; and 15 great-grandchildren.Pat graduated in 1955 from Wyoming Community High School. She was active in the FHA, Drama and Wy-Hi Booster Clubs. She was the art editor and played clarinet in the band. Patricia worked as a secretary for Rennick Law Offices before marrying her high school sweetheart in 1957. Following marriage, she dedicated herself to caring for her family and managing the family farm she inherited from her late parents. Together, she and Lloyd enjoyed traveling and being part of their communities in both Texas and Tennessee where they were active in the HOAs and the establishment of the Volunteer Fire Department. After Lloyd’s death, she moved to Dunlap, IL to be near family. She enjoyed being involved with others, visiting her family, and was active as the Vice President of the Fields of Hickory Grove Condo Association for many years.Her funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024, at Haskell Funeral and Cremation Services in Wyoming. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Rev. Glenn Corbly will officiate. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in rural Wyoming.Memorial contributions can be made to the Penn Township Cemetery Fund.

Kyungsook Choi, age 91, of Dunlap, Illinois passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023. She was born on February 20, 1932 to Yeongseok Choi and Gigeong Cha. She married Heeyoung Lee. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three sisters. Surviving are her children: Yongho (Hyesook) Lee, Eunhee (Charles) Eppinger, Eunsun (Butch) Pascoe, Yongjin (Sunghae) Lee, Yonggyu (Sora) Lee, and Youngjae Lee; and ten grandchildren. Kyungsook was a member of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Peoria, where she served as a Deacon. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts and gardening, and she knitted many scarves for the homeless. Kyungsook always had a smile for everyone. The family would like to thank all of the staff at Lacon Rehabilitation and Nursing for their loving care. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria with visitation one hour prior to the service. Kiley Dale Coleman, 47, died on December 2, 2023, at his residence in Dunlap, Illinois. Born a member of the Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, on October 6, 1976, to the late Kie and Mary (Wyss) Coleman Jr. He married and is survived by his wife, Tori (Reed) Coleman, on November 20, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kiley is also survived by three daughters: Savannah Coleman of Bloomington, Morgan Coleman of Peoria Heights, and Bailey Coleman of Dunlap; his two sons, Alex Coleman and August Coleman of Dunlap; one sister, Sondra Duck; one brother, Greg Warnke-Leeds; and two grandchildren, Emmett Jones and Z'ev Parton. He was preceded in death by both parents, Kie Coleman Jr. and Mary Murphy. Kiley made his career working in security. His children and wife were his best friends. Kiley enjoyed spending his time making those around him laugh. He was passionate about outdoor crafts, traveling, and spending time outdoors. His hobbies included hiking and going to the Jukebox Comedy Club. Cremation rites have been accorded per his wishes and their will be no services at this time. Pauline Marie Teubel, 83, of Dunlap, Illinois, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 7, 2023 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. Pauline was born on January 31, 1940, in Lester, IA to Ted and Emma (Feucht) Gerber. She married David Teubel on June 6, 1965. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2003. Surviving are her three sons, Brian (Shannon) Teubel of Sioux Falls, SD, Brent (Lynne) Teubel of Dunlap, IL, and Brice (Julie) Teubel of Edwards, IL; ten grandchildren; and five great grandchildren and two on the way in 2024. Also surviving are her brothers; Wayne, Ernie, Bill, and Jim Gerber. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Robert and John Gerber and sister-in-laws; Dorothy, Donna, and Sharon Gerber. Pauline spent most of her life in Lester, IA before moving to Dunlap, IL with her husband Dave in 1998 to be closer to their greatest joys in life, their family. Pauline devoted her life to the Lord. She showed her love to family, friends, neighbors, and strangers through her infectious laugh, keen ear, endless creativity, Sunday dinners, exceptional baked goods, and countless meals taken to people in need. Pauline spent her career as a bank teller, school bus driver, account manager and librarian. The family would like to thank the staff at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home for their exceptional and loving care of Pauline. A visitation will be held at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home, Peoria, IL on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 4:00 p. m. to 6:30 p. m. Stephen Alan Adami, 75, of Dunlap Illinois, died on December 4, 2023 at his residence. Born in Pekin, Illinois to the late Maurice and Jean (Arbogast) Adami, he married Betty McCoy on April 14, 1989 in Las Vegas. She survives at home. Steve is also survived by son Aaron (Samantha) of Dunlap; stepson Tim (Wendy) McCoy and granddaughters Katie and Violet McCoy of Fayetteville, New York; Sister Carol (David) Sharp of Mapleton, Illinois; and brother Tim Adami of Flowery Branch Georgia. He was also preceded in death by his sister Nancy Wagnaar. Steve served in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971 in Vietnam, Taiwan, and Japan. He achieved the rank of E5 staff Sergeant as a C130 aircraft specialist. Upon returning home, Steve worked for Caterpillar as a machine assembly specialist at Mossville Illinois for 38 years. He loved fishing in Chetek Wisconsin every summer with his family. Steve enjoyed spending time outdoors enjoying nature. Cremation rites have been accorded, and there will be no services at this time. Burial will be at the Dunlap Prospect Cemetery at a later date and time. Thomas Owen "Tom" Williams, 91, North Manchester, formerly of Dunlap, Illinois, changed his address from Earth to Heaven on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Our sweet, loving husband, dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather is in the arms of Jesus now. He was born May 10, 1932, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Thomas O. and Sophia Anne (Kucera) Williams. After graduating from Madison Memorial High School in Madison, Ohio, in 1950, Tom enlisted in the United States Army in 1955, where he proudly served in the Signal Corp after WWII. He was eventually honorably discharged and enrolled in Fenn College, now known as Cleveland State University, where he earned his electrical engineering and bachelor degrees. He was gifted with solving issues related to machines and engines when no one else could. Tom was sent all over the world to use these special skills while working for Republic Steel Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio, for ten years and for Caterpillar Tractor Company for thirty-two years and held many patents with both companies. On January 19, 1962, Tom married the love of his life, Roberta Margot Jansen. For the next sixty-one years, Tom was an incredible husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved with a kind and tender heart but could also be firm when needed. His life was centered around his family and his faith. Tom was active at Bethany Baptist Church for over fifty years in Peoria, Illinois, teaching Sunday School, working with Christian Service Brigade, and serving on the Board of Peoria Christian School. When Tom found spare time, he enjoyed repairing antique clocks and radios and camping with family and friends. He was a member of the Illinois Valley Antique Automobile Club in Peoria, Illinois, and PinMar Antique Automobile Club of Florida. During his younger years, Tom sang in a barbershop quartet. The loving memory of Thomas Owen Williams will be forever cherished by his wife, Roberta Williams, North Manchester; children, David (Cindy) Williams, Warsaw, Carol (Bill) Collett, North Manchester, and Douglas (Annette) Williams, Peoria, Illinois; grandchildren, Lindsay (Matt) Nafziger, Kelly (Trae) Furnivall, McKenzie Williams, Hannah Williams, Michael Williams, Schuyler (Whitney) Collett, Amy Collett, Hayleigh (Brady) Franklin, Bethany (Kyle) Stroud, Braden Williams, Lydia (Justus) Askren, and Larissa Williams; and eight great-grandchildren with the ninth due in March 2024. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 2:30 to 3:30 p. m. at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. A graveside service will take place at the end of calling at Fairview Cemetery, Servia, Indiana. Deborrah E. Kurtz, age 75, of Dunlap, IL, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at OSF St. Frances Medical Center in Peoria. Deborrah was born on February 20, 1948 in Burlington, IA to William Eugene and Audrey Kathleen (Poole) Smith. She married Terry Kurtz on July 15, 1967 in Burlington. Surviving are her husband, Terry; her daughter, Erica (Chad) Winger of Peoria, IL; her son, Nathan (Beth) Kurtz and three grandchildren, Riley, Landon and Melody Kurtz, all of Chillicothe; her brother, Gary (Connie) Smith of Rochester, MN; her sisters, Christine (Jim) Hallgren of Gladstone, IL and Diane (David) Sands of Ozark, MO; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents; grandparents; and her infant sister, Donna Lee Smith. Deborrah graduated from Burlington High School in 1966 and worked for Bergner’s Department Store for many years. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held at Terry and Deborrah’s home, 12610 Broadview Court in Dunlap on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 1pm to 3pm. Memorials in Deborrah’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the care of Weber-Hurd Funeral Home in Chillicothe.
