June 20, 2022 I lost my best friend. Thomas Scott Towery (aka Scott) passed unexpectedly at the age of 57. He is survived by me, his wife of 30 years, Kathy (Wilson) Towery, his daughter Taylor Towery 24, Thomas Towery 22, his brother Charles (Bob) Towery, sister Lynn (Towery) Roberts and loving and supportive members of the Wilson, Harris and Werner families. Scott was in essence, strong, fierce, determined, supportive: always looking to solve the problem even when you didn't ask him to. He just wanted to make everything right. To our kids he was a mentor, life coach and debate partner or opponent depending on where the conversation was headed. He loved being outdoors, traveling off the beaten path and a good scotch or glass of wine. Visitation will be held at Barber Memorial Home, Inc. , 428 Main Street, Johnson City, NY from 2pm to 3pm on Sunday, June 26, 2022. A private service will be held following for family members only.
