Thomas J. Malloy, who would have celebrated his 94th birthday next week, passed away peacefully yesterday at the home of his daughter in Cumberland. Tom was born in Providence a son of Katherine Jenkins and was the husband of the late Theresa D. (Plamondon) Malloy who passed away at the beginning of this month. Mr. Malloy was a baker and had been employed at New England Baking Company (Harvest bread) of Pawtucket, for 34 years before retiring. He was an avid New England sports fan including the Boston Bruins, the Patriots and the Red Sox. Tom enjoyed taking long rides with his family and he was a 'Lottery' enthusiast. He is survived by his daughter Gale Pina and her husband, with whom he resided, in Cumberland, his daughter Debra L'Esperance of Central Falls and was the father of the late Catherine Greene. He also leaves 5 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his brother Chester and his sister Elizabeth and his Granddaughter Barbara Greene VISITATION in the Coelho Home, will be held Friday, June 24th from 3 until 5 PM.
