Thomas G. LaEace, of Ft. Thomas, KY. , passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, after a courageous battle with Esophageal Cancer. Tom attended Sacred Heart Grade School, Newport Catholic High School, and Villa Madonna/Thomas More College where he majored in Business and Economics. He was a retired Regional Credit Manager with Ris Paper Co. Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Cheryl A. (Funaro) LaEace, and his parents, George and Rita (Gerding) LaEace. He is survived by his brother, Robert (Judy) of Indianapolis, and his sisters, Mary Jo and Donna LaEace, of Bellevue, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. His fur baby, Tara, was his constant companion and kept him going. Tom was an avid reader and a History buff. He and Cheryl loved to travel, and they treasured their trips to Charleston, SC. Tom donated his body to the University of Cincinnati Medical School, in hopes that someday they will find a cure for Esophageal Cancer. A Memorial Mass for both he and Cheryl (who Passed away during the Covid Pandemic), will be Saturday, September 16th at 1PM at Divine Mercy/Sacred Heart Church, 341 Taylor Ave. , Bellevue, KY. A reception will follow the Mass at Charity Hall, 312 Poplar St. Bellevue, KY. Richard "Rick" Fromeyer, 62, of Ft Mitchell, KY, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Rick was born May 3, 1961 in Ft. Thomas, KY to the late Paul and Mary (nee: Lovelace) Fromeyer. He was preceded in death by his Son, Ricky Fromeyer. Rick is survived by his Wife, Katie Fromeyer, Daughter, Stephanie (Brian) Osterhage, Son, Brandon (Christy) Fromeyer, Step Son, Matt (Courtney) Baker, Step Son, Zach (Emily) Baker; Grandchildren, Aaron, Ethan, Aidan, Gabe, Noah, Ellie, and Sage. Rick will also be missed by his siblings Sandy, Mike, Steve, Bob, Keith, Vicky, and Scot and their spouses. Rick had many nephews, nieces, family, and friends that he knew and adored. Rick retired as bus driver for the Dayton Independent Schools in Dayton, KY. At a young age, Rick served as a volunteer firefighter for the Dayton, KY Fire Department. He loved sports, especially the Kentucky Wildcats. He was very active with his children's and grandchildrens' youth sports in serving as a coach and past President of the Dayton Youth Football League. He was a supporter of the DHS Marching Band during his children's tenure with such. Rick loved to fish, talk about sports with his grandchildren, and was always a beacon of love, support, and friendship to his family, friends, and all those that were in need. He was also an active supporter and donator of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Autism Speaks. Timothy Allen Duell, 67, of Bellevue, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 28th at St Elizabeth Ft. Thomas Hospital. Tim was comforted by his devoted wife, Jackie, of 47 years and their 5 children, grandchildren, mother-in-law, siblings, and friends. His hospital room was filled with love at the time of his passing. By trade, Tim was a Meat Cutter with The Kroger Co. for 41 years before retiring. Tim was a member of the Bob White Club for 45 years where he made many memories with his children & grandchildren fishing and trap shooting. Tim was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart / Divine Mercy Parish. He was educated at Sacred Heart Elementary, attended Newport Central Catholic his freshman year, where he was a member of the swim team. Then completed his sophomore through senior years at Dayton High School, where he played basketball. As a young man, Tim enjoyed coaching baseball at the Bellevue Vets Club. However, his coaching continued with his sons while they attended St. Michael School, in Bellevue. Tim was a proud assistant coach of both soccer and basketball. It was not uncommon for Tim to jump in the car for a long ride. He enjoyed spending this alone time with his kids and grandkids, not knowing where their adventures would take them. Tim was preceded in death by his parents, John & Rita Duell. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Jackie (nee. Cole) Duell; daughter, Jennifer (life partner, Scott Trisler) Sparks; sons, Greg (Kate), Anthony, James & Zachary Duell; 5 grandchildren, Cooper & Zoe Sparks and Hunter, Allie, & Jack Duell; sister, Linda (Garry) Floyd, Jeannie (Late Mike) Apgar, Mary (Late Jerry) Schnelle & Margie (Jay) Riddle; brothers, John (Nancy) & Dan (Carol) Duell. Adaline "Pete" Winkler (nee Kiefer) aged 89, passed peacefully in her sleep on September 24, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James; her son, Jeffrey Winkler; and grandson, Paul Wesselkamper. She is survived by her daughters Felicia "Lisa" (the late Michael) Wesselkamper and Jennifer Winkler and son Christopher Winkler. Grandson Matthew Wesselkamper and her great grandchildren Kara and Braxton Wesselkamper. sister Michelle "Mickey" Kappesser. Pete grew up in Bellevue, KY and was an early fixture on the Uncle Al Show, playing Cinderella in the early 1950's. She moved to Cincinnati after marrying and raised her children, later returning to work as a seamstress making custom window treatments. She enjoyed singing, a good laugh, gardening and always had a book (or Kindle) in hand. Honoring Pete's final wish to be buried in Kentucky, she will be buried in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Ft. Thomas. Visitation Thursday, September 28, 2023 at St. Stephen's Cemetery Chapel at 1:15 pm and prayer services at 2 pm. He was a faithful Catholic and devoted husband to the love of his life, MaryEllen Witt (nee: Grau). Married 71 years, the two were rarely seen separately. Mary Ann (nee Votel) Guthier 88 of Bellevue, Kentucky passed away on June 19, 2023. Mary Ann was born September 25, 1934 in Bellevue, KY to Ralph and Hilda Rolfes Votel. Mary Ann was a graduate of Springfield Catholic Central High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Springfield, Ohio. She worked as a surgical nurse for 35 years at St. Luke Hospital, Fort Thomas. Volunteered at Sisters of the Good Shepherd Pelliter Hall. Member of St Therese Alter Society, Southgate Super Seniors and St Therese Choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald Guthier, son, Robert Guthier, brothers, Jerry, Tom and Bill Votel.
