Age - 85

Ruth Ann Juliano, beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted member of the Farmington Hills community, passed into eternal life on Tuesday afternoon, December 5, 2023. She was 85 years old. Born April 30, 1938, to the late J. Keith and Ruth (Flessner) Schachern at St. Joseph Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan, Ruth Ann's life was marked by unwavering faith, boundless generosity, and a remarkable zest for life. Growing up in Pontiac, Ruth Ann attended St. Frederick's Catholic School, where her dedication to her Catholic faith began to flourish. Her adventurous spirit was evident early on when she embarked on a cross-country and European bike journey, finding solace and camaraderie in youth hostels and eventually becoming a leader of those groups. Her experiences shaped her into a natural leader, fostering connections and spreading joy wherever she went. A registered nurse by profession, it was at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital where she met her beloved husband, Dr. Leroy "Lee" Juliano. Together, they built a life grounded in love, shared interests, and mutual respect until his passing on March 7, 2009, after a wonderful 43-year marriage. Music was a cornerstone of Ruth Ann's life, and her talent on the piano resonated not only in her church but also in the school Christmas plays. She had an affinity for sports, particularly enjoying the Lions, Tigers, and Red Wings. Her endearing nickname "lone fan" was earned because come rain or shine, nor regard for distance, she never missed any of her kids' sporting events, epitomizing unwavering dedication to them. Her loving devotion to her grandchildren was evident as well in every moment spent with them and they will miss her terribly. Her involvement in the St. Fabian Church Women's Club showcased her commitment to community and service. A true artisan at heart, Ruth Ann's passion for crafting, sewing, and decorating was undeniable. Her handmade Christmas wreaths and other creations, initially sold in Union Lake and later in downtown Northville, brought joy to countless homes during the holiday season. Ruth Ann was also famous for her extensive collection of Christmas cookies and an impressive array of Santa Claus memorabilia, which became a hallmark of her holiday celebrations. Her love for travel, voracious reading habits, and active participation in book club gatherings painted a picture of a woman curious about the world around her. Known for her stoic nature and resilience, Ruth Ann never complained, embodying grace and strength in the face of adversity. Stubborn yet endearing, Ruth Ann always championed the underdog and cherished life's small pleasures, especially desserts! She had a keen sense of adventure and refused to miss out on any opportunity fearing she'd not be asked again. Her kids indicated she was a human "Rand McNally," knowing the world almost to the mile marker. Ruth Ann Juliano's legacy of faith, resilience, and unconditional love will forever echo in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Her spirit of selflessness, coupled with an insatiable curiosity for life, leaves an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. William Ringrose

Bill Ringrose was born in Detroit on November 15, 1965 to Frederick and Carol Ringrose. Bill's life was centered on his family. He leaves behind his wife, Gayle; his children Heather, William (Tiffany), and Nichollette Ringrose. His cherished grandchildren Nathaniel Ringrose, Nicholas Zaitonia, Olivia Zaitonia, Emmalynn Ringrose, William Ringrose, and he was excited over the arrival of Canaan Ringrose in January. Bill is survived by his siblings, Frederick Ringrose and Steven (Mary) Ringrose. Each and every member of his family feels this loss greatly. His life will be remembered by all of us, each one with our own memories. If you had the pleasure of meeting him, you knew him by his humor and his generosity. Bill had no acquaintances; only friends. He welcomed every person into his life, and gave what he could, even if he had to go without. Bill's generosity and warmth extended well past his family. He reached into his community and beyond, leaving his mark. Notably, his donations to the Ms. Amazing pageant and causes that hit close to home for him and his family and strangers alike. He was an avid fan of, well, everything U of M, Lions, Pistons, Red Wings, his hometown teams were his teams. Should you have gone to a game with him, you would have found that he would turn nearly rabid but more than likely, you would have been swept up in his energy and found yourself cheering harder than you had ever before. Keep that energy, as we now have to cheer for him. On December 3rd, Bill said his farewell to this world after watching the Lion's win. That last weekend was spent with his son, every moment spending his time doing exactly what he wanted to be doing. While we all wish for a last moment, a last goodbye, let us feel comforted by his joy in those moments. A Memorial Visitation will take place Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home from 3-8 PM. Additional visitation Friday, December 8, 2023 from 12:00 PM until time of memorial service at 1:00 PM.Show more
