Thomas Chismar Obituary

Thomas Joseph Chismar, age 68, of Lansing, Illinois passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Tom is the loving husband for 48 years to Pam Chismar; loving father to Julie Brown and Jen (Rory) O'Donnell; proud grandfather to Emily and Alyssa Brown, Killian, George and Londen O'Donnell; and soon to be great grandfather; cherished brother to Marie (Chuck) Rutke and Ray Chismar; uncle to many; friend to several. Tom retired after 48 years of service at Morrison Timing Screw. He was a sports nut, avid Bears and White Sox fan. Tom was a Casino enthusiast, with his favorite places being Las Vegas and the horse track. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Visitation will be Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of his funeral at 1:00 pm with Pastor Bob Parnell officiating. He will be laid to rest in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
