Theresa Selvidio Obituary

Theresa DiFrancesca Selvidio, 92, of Monroe, NC passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was born in Pawcatuck, CT on June 24, 1931, the daughter of the late Salvatore DiFrancesca and mother, Frances Quattromani DiFrancesca. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Sal DiFrancesca and a brother-in-law, John Jennings. Theresa retired from the Norwich, CT Public School System where she worked with special needs students. She loved to travel, especially to Italy and the beach, and enjoyed good conversation. She was loved by family and friends and will be sorely missed. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Lee Park Church 2491 Morgan Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110. The family will receive friends and family following the service. Theresa is survived by one son, Richard Selvidio, and wife Mal, and five daughters; Linda Selvidio, Donna Baton and husband Ted, Faye Deeming and husband Steve, Melissa Whipple and husband Wendell, Stacy Swallows and husband Rich, two brothers; John DiFrancesca and wife Barbara and Robert DiFrancesca, two sisters; Fran Jennings and Pam Pirie and husband Bob, sister-in-law, Kay DiFrancesca, fourteen grandchildren; Kim, Craig, Jason, Robbie, Stephanie, Keith, Brian, Kristin, Kelly, Adam, Steven, Ashley, Madison, Brooklyn and twenty great-grandchildren.
