Loretta "Joyce" Kopp February 27, 1932 - April 19, 2019 Cashmere, Washington L. Joyce Stebbins-George-Waldrop-Kop, passed away on April 19, 2019 at Cashmere Care Center. Joyce was born on February 27, 1932, to Alan "Terry" and Caroline (Johnson) Stebbins. Her family were long-time residents of Leavenworth, WA. She graduated from Leavenworth High School. In her younger years she loved water sports, swimming and water skiing. She also was a lifelong member of VFW. She owned the Icicle Tavern for many years, after she sold it she worked in the restaurants in town as a waitress and bartender. She moved to Marysville with her family in 1977, where she work in a small grocery store. Joyce enjoyed her family and having big family dinners, however she always made so many snacks that everybody was full before dinner, so there were always lots of leftovers for everyone. Joyce loved to travel with her sister Darlene Dennis, they crossed the United States and back. She also traveled with her cousin Eileen Kelly, they loved to go to the casinos. One of her greatest joys was taking her grandchildren to Mariner Baseball games, they would go early and get autographs from the players. She loved to collect baseball cards with the kids, they traveled to many baseball shows and stood in line for autographs and meetings with the players. She also enjoyed watching the kids play basketball, soccer, baseball and football. Joyce also liked to garden, she had huge flower gardens. Though Joyce lived in Marysville for many years she always considered the Wenatchee Valley her home. She is proceed in death by her parents Terry Stebbins and Caroline Johnson Stebbins Pierce, her son and daughter Daniel and Donna Waldrop, her sister Darlene Stebbins Dennis, husband William "Bill" Kopp and son-in-law Victor Logan. Joyce is survived by her brother, Fred (Karen) Stebbins of Yakima, WA; daughters: Peggy (Dennis) George Franklin of Stanwood, WA; Lynnette George Logan of Craig, AK; Karen (Jon) George Folden of Peshastin, WA; Stephanie (Jim) Waldrop Schroeder of Ferndale, WA; and son, Lt. Col. Matthew (Teri) Kopp of Bishop, GA; grandchildren: Jason (Julie) Franklin and Jeffrey (Wendy) Franklin of Marysville, WA, Matthew (Michelle) Logan of Leavenworth, WA, Nicole Logan of Craig, AK, Alexander Folden and Morgan (Jeff) Folden Lang of Peshastin, WA, Kelli (Trey) Schroeder Baker and Jacob (Jessie) Schroeder of Ferndale, WA, Noah Kopp and Kayleigh Kopp of Bishop, GA, and 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, including life-long friend (cousin), Eileen Kelly. Joyce requested a private family service at the Mountain View Cemetery in Leavenworth, WA. Friends who wish can make memorial contributions in her name to Hospice or The Alzheimer's Association.
