Mrs. Theraldine "Dolly" Walker Yeomans, 78 of Bristol, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at her residence. Born in Blackshear, GA on April 29, 1940, she had lived in Pierce County all of her life. Mrs. Yeomans was retired from Georgia Farm Bureau where she had been a secretary for 45 years. She was a devoted member of Bristol Baptist Church where she was also a member and former teacher of the Adult Ladies Sunday school class. Even though Mrs. Yeomans was retired, she kept busy babysitting, dog sitting, and taking care of her husband. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and dearly loved her family and church family. She was a daughter of the late Ephriam Allen & Mattie Mazel Barnard Walker. She was also preceded in death by her son, Bryan Yeomans; three sisters, Agnes Westberry, Mattie Bell Deloach, and Margaret Odum; and both of her brothers, Earl Walker, Jr. and Junior Walker. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Edsol "Joe" Yeomans of Bristol; two daughters and a son-in-law, Gay Yeomans and Cherrie & Darien Manders all of Bristol; a sister, Josephine "Jo" Tuten of Blackshear; 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Donnie) White and Jordan Manders (Bree Kicklighter); 4 great grandchildren, Robert Earl White, Reed White, Tucker Manders, and Ryder Manders; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services for Mrs. Yeomans will be held Saturday morning, February 2, 2019, at 11:00 o'clock from the Bristol Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Bristol Cemetery. The family has requested that members of the Adult Ladies Sunday school class to serve as honorary pallbearers. Please meet at the church by 10:30 Saturday morning.
