Thelma Jo (Myers) Sitzes was born on April 1, 1934, at Buckhorn, Missouri, the daughter of Roscoe and Grace Myers, and passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 89 years. Thelma Jo was preceded in death by her parents, her husband J. F. Sitzes, who she married on March 20, 1954, at Buckhorn, and two (2) brothers, Bill Myers, and Aubrey Myers. Thelma Jo is survived by one (1) son Deryll (Kathy) Sitzes, one (1) daughter, Debbie (Mike) Howard, four (4) grandsons, and ten (10) great-grandchildren. Thelma Jo was of the Baptist Faith, and she enjoyed sewing, cooking, collecting things, her birds, and she really enjoyed her years in Destin, Florida.

"Kelvin E. Yount, 69, of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 2, 1954 in St. Louis, MO to Milford Marvin and Olga Jean Cureton-Yount. Kelvin and Patty Harris-Yount were married on February 5, 1976. She survives him in Fredericktown. He worked as a boiler operator for the Missouri State Prisons. He was a member of Rhodes Chapel United Methodist Church in Fredericktown, as well as the Coon Hunters Club, Patton Lion\u0027s Club, the Elks, and formerly served as a board member for the Patton Saddle Club. Kelvin graduated from Meadow Heights High School in the class of 73\u0027, where he played on the school\u0027s volleyball and basketball teams. Kelvin was an all around outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, raising cattle and riding his horses. Survivors include his wife, Patty Yount; daughter, Misty Yount-Griffin of Sedgewickville, MO; son, Dustin (Cassi) Yount of Marquand, MO; brother, Alan Yount of Marquand, MO; brother-in-Law, Richard Danley; three sisters-in-law, Barb Wright, Karen Moore, Jamie Harris; eight grandchildren, Zachary (Justina) Yount, Colton Griffin, Sage Griffin, Ally Griffin, Gage Griffin, Halli Bollinger-Yount, Chase (Anna) Massey, Tatum Bollinger; two great-grandchildren, Lukah Roza, Ryder Yount; two special friends, Ronnie Gifford and Richard Brooks, who\u0027s weekly Saturday deliveries of breakfast and good conversation will always be treasured. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ernest Yount; two brothers-in-law, Ron Wright, Jerry Moore. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Ford \u0026amp; Liley Funeral Home in Patton with special service held by the Elks Lodge #2583 at 1:30 pm. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm with pastors Eric Simmons and David McCutcheon officiating. A luncheon will be provided at Union Light Church with assistance from Rhodes Chapel members.
