Memorial services for Mrs. Thelma Sue Kately will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Israelite Baptist Church, Oakdale, with Reverend Johnny Ray Foster, officiating under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mrs. Kately, 60, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on June 19, 2022, in Oakdale, LA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a 1982 graduate of Oakdale High School and attended Southern University, until she joined the Air Force. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Foster, Sr. and Rose Ann Foster; one infant son; two brothers, Lawrence Foster, Jr. and Freddie Gillmam; and one sister, Dorothy Jean Foster. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include loving husband, Charles Kately of Oakdale; one son, Michael Charles Kately, and wife, Annalisa of Wichita Falls, Texas; two daughters, Rosa Ann Prior, and husband, Bradley of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Dalielle Kately of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Bobby Ray Foster, and wife, Ella of Baton Rouge, and Rev. Johnny Ray Foster of Carrollton, Texas; four sisters, Mary Lucille Perry of Oakdale, Virginia Ann James, and husband, Ezra Charles of Duncanville, Texas, Lottie Mae Harris, and husband, Atonus of Oakdale, and Juanita Grace Chase of Baton Rouge; and eight grandchildren.
