Terry Lee (Singer) Walraven, age 76, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side Wednesday, October 4, 2023, after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer She was born December 20, 1946, in Jeffersonville, Indiana Terry was a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul She endured many challenges throughout her life, and always rose above She, along with her husband Joel, wintered in Florida for many years, and were longtime season ticket holders to the Cincinnati Bengals They also enjoyed and followed the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds Terry enjoyed going on long car rides, which usually ended up at a restaurant In addition, she was known to enjoy a shopping excursion Playing cards, especially euchre, was a true enjoyment for Terry She played cards, anytime she could, and had participated in many euchre tournaments More than anything, Terry loved her family She is survived by her husband, Joel H Walraven, to whom she married April 1, 1966 in Wilmington; children, Chris Walraven of Sewall's Point, Florida, and Jessica Brewer of Wilmington; grandchildren, Noah Brewer and Kylie Brewer, both of Wilmington, and Sophia Walraven and Emily Walraven, both of Costa Rica; brother John Singer of Akron; several nieces and nephews; and many great friends from Ohio and Florida Terry is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Juanita (Abbott) Singer; and sister Geraldine Webb Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 a m Monday, October 9, 2023 at Sugar Grove Cemetery in Wilmington, with Pastor Matt Morgan, of Fellowship of Praise, Clarksville, officiating Visitation will be held Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 5:00 to 6:00 p m at Brown Funeral Home, Wilmington For more information, or to leave an on-line condolence, please visit www arehart-brown com, or see our Facebook page, Brown Funeral Home To to the family or in memory of Terry Lee (Singer) Walraven, please

He is survived by his father David Ferguson; children, Layla Ferguson, Tyler Ferguson, siblings: twin sister, Tiffany Ferguson, older brothers, James Ferguson (Miranda) and David Ferguson II (Deanna), and older sister Angela tucker (Jason); along with many aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews. Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Ferguson; grandparents, many aunts and uncles. Nick lived by his own rules, dancing to the rhythm of life with an infectious spirit that effortlessly drew people towards him. His boundless friendliness knew no bounds, and he embraced everyone as if they were lifelong friends, never knowing a stranger. In his brief time on Earth, Nick managed to infuse more life into every moment than many do in a lifetime. For his brother Trentin, Nick was not just a sibling but a lifesaver. Trentin lovingly recalls, "Nick saved my life; without him, I probably wouldn't be here now. I love you so much. You will be loved and missed. Go have fun with Mom. " His brother David echoes the sentiment, expressing, "Gone too soon. I love you so much. Go ride high in the clouds. " Nick's impact transcended mere existence; he was a force of joy, spontaneity, and unwavering support. His legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the memories that will forever be cherished. Rosalie was born on June 22, 1932 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Charles and Elizabeth Morrison. Rosalie and her late husband owned and operated their family restaurant for many years. Beyond the hustle and bustle of the restaurant, Rosalie found solace and joy in spending time with her family. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she created a home filled with love, laughter, and the irresistible aroma of her cooking. In her 91 years, Rosalie continued to find joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially when surrounded by loved ones. Her legacy lives on in the shared memories of family gatherings, the delicious recipes passed down through generations, and the enduring love that she so generously gave. Along with her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl Quincy Sowder Jr. ; and her daughter, Becky Sowder. Rosalie is survived by her three children, Tina Barchard, Earl Quincy "Tres" Sowder (Sally), Hope English (Ron); six grandchildren, Eric Barchard, Sarah Barchard, Quincy Sowder (Emily), Meghan Carroll (Jordan), Samantha Hommel, Faith English; and seven great grandchildren. As an automotive store manager, he poured his heart and soul into his work, finding solace and joy in the mechanics of all things that revved and roared to life. But beyond the tools and gears, Buddy was a man who embraced the simplicity of life's pleasures. His eyes sparkled at the mention of Las Vegas, a place that held a special corner in his heart. And in the quiet moments of reflection, he found peace within the walls of One Community Church in Clarksville, Indiana, where his spirit found solace and community. She was born on September 11, 1933, in Gettysburg, Ohio, the daughter of James and Wilma Johnson. Phyllis retired from the Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, as a Paralegal, demonstrating dedication throughout her career. In her retirement, she found joy in square dancing, line dancing, traveling, and attending the YMCA for her silver sneakers class. She was a devoted member of Wall Street United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her five brothers: Dale, Jay, Chalmer, Jack, and Mac, along with her sister Ruby Rodgers. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Allan Bailey, her son James Bailey (Kathy), daughter Sharon Evans, two granddaughters, Alyssa Reinstedler (Dustin) and Jaime Simms (Ryan). Heaven gained a beautiful angel, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
