Amy Blunt

Amy Blunt

Age - 44

November 28, 2023

Amy Morgan Blunt (Batemen) was born on October 28, 1979, in Portland, Oregon. She was adopted at 3 days old and was always told she was born of our hearts. Her brother, "bro", Ryan, was born almost 7 months later and our family was blessed with two wonderful children. Baptized in the Presbyterian Church, she went to Logos and participated in Summer Vacation Bible School. Idaho Falls was her home where she grew up, attending Falls Valley Elementary and Edgemont Elementary, and then on to Taylorview Junior High and Idaho Falls High School, where she earned her GED. School was always a challenge for Amy dealing with her many learning difficulties, but we always told her there is life after school. Amy loved her three children beyond measure. Calvin Campbell is in the Air Force in Montana and has a daughter, Nickolette. Madison is a Vet Assistant living in North Dakota, and little six-year-old Kwincie gave Amy another opportunity to do what she did best, be a loving mom. She loved her life-partner, Bruce Loggins and made the brave move to Heron Lake, MN almost four years ago, to have a fresh start and see another part of the country. Amy worked as a clerk and manager at the dollar Tree and at Sage Truck Stop in Idaho and helped Bruce with his business. She enjoyed all activities with Kwincie, both at home doing art projects and at school. Drawing and sketching were some of Amy's talents, which have been passed down to Kwincie. They spent many fun hours making play dough figures, drawing, coloring, and giggling. On Saturday, November 18, 2023, Amy passed away suddenly, all too young, at the age of 44 years, in Windom, Minnesota. A service will be in Idaho Falls, ID at a later date. Left to miss and cherish time with her, are her partner, Bruce Loggins; her three children, Calvin, Madison, and Kwincie; a granddaughter, Nickolette; her mom and stepdad, Chris and Troy McAnnally of Walla Walla, WA; her brother, Ryan Smith of Walla Walla; and all her dear friends and extended family. Her father, Rod Bateman, preceded her, as well as recently losing her grandma, Hazel Steepleton, and a year ago, her grandfather, Bob Keyes. She taught us how to be forgiving, loving, letting the little things go, and how to hitch up our skirts and press on. God has an amazing angel now, and she will forever be living in our hearts.Show more
