Terry Lee Keach, 81, passed away, Thursday, August 31, 2023 in Springtown. He was born April 25, 1942 in Terre Haute, Indiana to Louis Henry and Emma Belle (Wheeler) Keach. They both preceded him in death along with his wife, Louise (Alexander) Keach. Along with his brother, John Keach, sister, Catherine Dupont and grandson, Blake. Terry married Louise Alexander June 17, 1962 and they lived in the Bedford area. During that marriage he and Louise was blessed with two daughters. He worked in the new home construction business and was instrumental in the building of many homes in the HEB-Grapevine area. Once they were empty nesters, he and Louise moved to Gilmer to enjoy their retirement. Even though he retired, he still worked and built several homes in the Gilmer area. Terry is survived by his daughters, Tammy Eason and Dawn Williams and husband, Stan; twin brother, Jerry Keach; grandchildren, Ticia, Brandon, Taylor and Cathy; great grandchildren, Kaylee and Lincoln.

Barbara Dale Henry Merrell, 81 years, of Springtown, Texas, passed away, Friday, November 10, 2023. She was born on 13 October, 1942 in Brady, McCulloch Co. , Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Orvil Ray Henry and Ona Mae Turner Henry and her sister Loretta Carol Henry Pateff. She is survived by her husband Sam Merrell and children Karri Dee Evans and Gregory Dean Stroud. She also leaves grandchildren: (Brandi Michelle, Kristi Lynn and Kassi Dawn from the Evans' family); (Jacob Dean, and Jordan Grace from the Stroud's family). Great Grandchildren are: (Evan Leonard, Emrie Leigh and Eastyn Lucas from Brandi's family), (Kason David, Cadee Grace, Khloe Alena, and Karter Hope from Kassi's family). Sam Merrell's family included his mother, Bertha Mae Perkins and children Julie Lynn Young, Tina Marie Elliot, Samuel Joe Merrell and Kenneth Robert Jameson. Besides being a wife and mother for her family, she also found time to serve as secretary to several oil company executives while living in Pampa, Midland and Tyler. . Barbara was a lover of animals and birds of all kinds, domestic and wild. She especially loved dogs and horses. She also loved the mountains, gurgling streams, pristine forests and the animal life found in New Mexico and Colorado. She was drawn to the peace and harmony of God's amazing creation. While living in Ruidoso she became the friend of elk, bear, mule deer, squirrels, chip monks, skunks, and countless birds including humming birds and wild turkey. She also owned a saddle horse. This time in life was her ultimate utopia. After leaving Ruidoso, to be closer to family and better medical facilities, Barbara and husband Bud Nunn settled in Springtown. After Bud's death, she later married Sam Merrell who loved her dearly and during the final period of her life, faithfully cared for her. She was a faithful member of the Springtown Church of Christ, but in recent years due to health issues, has not been able to attend regularly. However, she continued to tune in to services of the church each Sunday and participated in communion at home. Her final words to her family and friends were "I am going home to be with Jesus. Patricia Anne Harkcom gained her wings on Saturday, November 11th 2023 at Wise Health System. After a battle with her health, The Lord called her home. She was surrounded by her loved ones during her last moments on Earth. Patricia Anne Harkcom was born on November 30th 1950 to now late Woodrow Park & Dorothy Baker-Park in Odessa, Texas She was survived by; her partner, Robert Hernandez. Children; Scotty Keeny, Trisha & Ricky Rogers, Joey & Brenda Fullilove, Stephanie Hernandez, Robert & Amanda Hernandez, Cody & Ashly Harkcom, 16 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren, 3 siblings, & many nieces & nephews. Pat was truly a rare find, she loved people and never judged a soul, she loved unconditionally and with her entire heart. Pat found immense joy in spending time with her family, friends, & maybe most of all her Grandkids. Pat always had a way of making you feel welcome, comfortable, & making you feel like you were her favorite person alive! She would make sure you had a full belly and took much pride in her southern home cooking. Pat worked at Los Vaqueros for over 20 years. She put her heart and soul into her work. Her co-workers & customers became family. We are incredibly thankful for our time with Pat here on Earth, although we are hurting and feel an unfathomable void, we take comfort in knowing Pat believed in Jesus & we will be reunited with her for an eternity someday. The celebration of life for Pat Harkcom will be held @3pm on December 2nd 2023. It will be at the Deskin residence 5240 West Hwy 199 Springtown TX. Any flowers or cards may also be sent there. It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Perez announces his passing after a long illness, on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the age of 58 years. Danny was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on May 18, 1965 to Hipolito Rufino Perez and Irene Dominguez Perez. Danny and his family moved to San Jose California in 1967 at the age of 3. Danny would go on to attend Gardner Elementary School, Hoover Middle School, and Lincoln High School where he joined the schools marching band and played the alto saxophone and made life long friends. Danny finished his education in 1983 and joined the telecommunication career field, he worked at mobile communications, day wireless, and AT&T, where he retired after 22 years. Danny's passion was working and rebuilding classic cars. He loved to go cruising with his kid and listening to oldies. He was Always down for a barbecue with family and friends . Most of all he was known for his sense of humor, (he wasn't that funny) loved to party and lend a helping hand when needed . Quick to pick up the tab when out to eat. Danny loved the holidays , like Halloween he loved to dress his kids and himself. Christmas ranked high. He used to go to the Santa Cruz mountains with his kids and other family members to find the biggest Christmas tree he could find . Sometimes he had to cut the tip of the tree to fit in his living room (holidays will never be the same) . Danny is survived by his three children Alex Dario, Senaida Irene, and Enrique Daniel Perez and his grandson Daniel. His late sister Maria Morales, who passed in February of 2022. His sister Teresa Hernandez, Noemi Irene Threatt and Dina Hernandez. He will be greatly missed.Show more

We regretfully announce the passing of Bessie May Cannon (Robinson) of Springtown, Texas on November 4, 2023. Bessie was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully. Our Granny, Bessie M. Cannon, was one of the strongest, most courageous, kind women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of our family. Bessie May Robinson was born November 1, 1936, in Veal Station to James E. Robinson and Annie S. Woody; she was 1 of 7 kids. Bessie graduated from Azle High School in 1954 and was named FFA Sweetheart. In 1957, she met and married James W. Cannon and together they went on to have 4 children but raised seven. She was a long time member of Oak Tree Baptist Church of Poolville. Bessie Cannon was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space she left behind. Bessie was preceded in death by her husband James W. Cannon, her parents James E. Robinson and Annie S. Woody. Also preceding her in death were her siblings, Jimmie Robinson, Robbie Jack Robinson, Reanell Dudley, and Maureen White as well as her beloved daughter in law, Janet K Cannon. Bessie Cannon is survived by her sister Lorean and husband Buddy Burton of Rendon and brother Billie Robinson of Granbury. Her children: J. V. Cannon, Johnny Cannon and wife, Carla, all of Poolville. Robert Cannon and wife, Shelly of Springtown and Kim Bales and husband, David of Poolville. 13 grandchildren; Charlie and Mike Fratus of Cassville, MO, Tanya & Gene Bohannan of Godley, Jeremy and Jessica Cannon of Poolville, Cody and LaRae Cannon of Poolville, Brandon and Deanna Mills of Fort Worth, Candice and Derek Adams of Poolville, Taylor Cannon of Mascota, Mexico, J. R. Berry of DeLeon, Corey Cannon of Springtown, Kyle and Reagan Berry of Abilene, Tabitha Price of Weatherford, Elizabeth and Kelsey Wylie of Brock and Caleb and Cara Cannon of Dallas. Also her 22 great-grandchildren: Hayden, Hallie, Colton, Kenzie, Keegan, Lillianna, Aiden, Lady, Aubree, Wyatt, Cannon, Brett, Randy (RJ), Ryan, Allie, Pistol, Wylie, Tatum, Sadie Jo, Bailey May, Branham & McKenna as well as many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.Show more
