Margaret Gladys Sinclair Hurlbut, age 90, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away at her home, Tuesday, November 21, 2023. She was born January 19, 1933, to William and Gladys (Upshall) Sinclair in Hamworthy, Poole, Dorset, England. She was the oldest, having survived one brother. Margaret was united in marriage to Stanley Arthur William Hall, in March of 1952, and welcomed three children John, Brian, and Beverly, who passed away in 2007. Margaret and Stanley were married for 21 years until his passing in 1973. Margaret moved to America in 1975. She worked for the Salt Lake City Hospital, as a sterilization technician. Margaret married Samuel Hurlbut in August of 1983 until Samuels passing in 2005. Margaret was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she especially enjoyed serving as a Temple worker. Family was everything to her and her loving and nurturing soul will be sorely missed. Margaret is survived by her two sons, John, and Brian, twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Margaret are being held Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 11:00 a. m. for visitation and 1:00 p. m. service, at White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri. Burial next to family will follow services at Kings Prairie Cemetery, in Monett, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made to Haven of the Ozarks and may be entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory. Patricia Jeanne Perriman, age 74, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri. She was born May 14, 1949 in Los Angeles, California the daughter of Walter and Barbara (Snyder) Scott. On August 12, 1982 in Aurora, Missouri she was united in marriage to Harold David Perriman, who preceded her in death on September 15, 2014. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Sharon Walker. Surviving are two sons, Brian Lasley and his wife Leisa of Cassville, Missouri and Jerry Lasley of Springfield, Missouri; one brother, Rick Scott and his wife Pat of Sulfur Springs, Oklahoma; four sisters, Sandy Osborne of Columbia, Missouri, Barbara Sullivan of Sarcoxie, Missouri, Terri Heath of Kansas City, Missouri and Tina Guess of Crane, Missouri and three grandchildren. Patricia attended school in Verona, Missouri graduating from Verona High School later attending St. John's School of Nursing in Springfield, Missouri attaining a bachelor degree in nursing. She was employed by several different medical facilities and doctors' offices as a registered nurse. Patricia enjoyed quilting and various other crafts. She attended Bible Baptist Church in Cassville. Services are currently pending. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Maria Kay Phipps, special daughter of Marvin and Linda Kay Phipps, age 55, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville, Missouri. She was born November 11, 1968 in Cassville, Missouri where she lived her entire life. Maria was one of the first children to attend Barry-Lawrence County Development Center. From the age of five until 21 she attended Oakview State School in Monett, Missouri and then attended the ARC Day Program in Cassville. After the sudden death of her father, Maria entered Roaring River Health and Rehab where she was lovingly cared for day and night. Maria loved her swing in the back yard, splashing in her pool, music, especially when attending the United Methodist Church in Cassville and eating out and traveling with her mom and dad. Heaven is a wonderful home now for dear Maria. Surviving are her mother Linda Kay Phipps of Cassville, Missouri, her aunt and uncle, Nancy and Jim Crowell of Columbia, Missouri and many cousins and special friends. Preceding her in death were her father, Marvin Phipps and her aunt, Audry Stanifer. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P. M. Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jeff Fugitt will conduct the services. Friends may come pay their respects from 1:00 until 2:30 P. M. Thursday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Jan Adelle Evans Jan Adelle Jones Evans left this world for her heavenly home in the early morning of October 28, 2023. A memorial service is planned for December 8th at Cassville United Methodist church. Jan was born on January 7, 1950, to Adelle Morgenson and Bill W. Jones. Jan spent her childhood in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, graduating from College High School in 1968. She had two brothers, Don and Rick, and an honorary sister, Pilloo Pardiwalla, who lived with Jan's family through the Foreign Exchange Service. Jan participated in Girl Scouts, Marching Band, Piano performances, MYF, and aerobic swimming. She helped at her dad's real estate office in the summers. She attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater and was a Gamma Phi Beta Sorority member. Her initial field of study was in Interior Design. She started designing her dream house in her spare time. She had a life-changing experience when 2 little deaf girls were added to her extended family. She found her calling to teach Deaf children. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Speech-language Pathology in 1972. She went on to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center to get her Master of Science in Deaf Education/Communication Disorders. She was awarded her Professional Certificate for Teaching the Hearing Impaired in Early Childhood and Elementary Education in February 1979. Jan had her first professional teaching job with deaf babies, children, and their parents at the Easter Seals Foundation in Ft. Worth, Texas. She left there when the program closed and moved back to Bartlesville. She accepted a Speech and Language Pathologist position in Dewey Public Schools for several years. She also worked with the Project Echo program, serving preschool hearing-impaired children in the surrounding areas. In 1980, she accepted a hearing, speech, and language pathologist position in the early childhood Special Services for infants through the Preschool Special Services program with Bartlesville Public Schools. She also served the school-age hearing impaired until she retired in 2004. Jan was a beloved teacher, and her work still impacts the Bartlesville community today. Jan married the love of her life, Rick Evans, in November of 1982 at First United Methodist Church in Bartlesville. Rick's three daughters Kandi, Dana and Shelley, welcomed Jan into their family. In 1986, Dustin was added to their family. Amanda and Joey came into their fold in 1989. They all enjoyed camping, boating, and skiing together, especially at Big Bay on Table Rock Lake. After retirement, Jan and Rick saw their dream house built in the same area. Many happy hours were spent during their extended stay at the Lake House. They made many beautiful memories there. Jan is survived by her kids, Kandi Evans, Dana Bowman, Shelley Johnson, Joey Evans, and Amanda Evans. She is also survived by over 30 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. , her cousin Nancy Jones, and her five nieces Lynn Curto, Debbie Jones, Teresa Jones, Donna Jones Keffer, Rachel Jones, and her honorary sister Pilloo Millan. She was loved by many and will be missed by all, especially her best friends, Mary Rawlins Ramzel and Linda Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Adelle Jones, her husband, Rick Evans, her son, Dustin Evans, her brothers Don and Rick Jones, and her niece, Beverly Jones.
