Terry Christner Obituary

Terry Wayne Christner, son of Jack and Helen Tuttle Christner, was born August 5, 1962, in Lebanon, Missouri and departed this life May 8, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty years. Terry began working for Lowe Boats when he was seventeen years old. He was still employed with them. Through the years, he worked in every capacity at the factory. He earned much deserved respect from his co-workers and employers. They became his dear friends. Terry enjoyed simplicity in life. He was proud of each of his children and grandchildren and their accomplishments. Time spent and laughter shared with them is what he treasured most. Terry is survived by his children, Tara Blackburn and her husband Brian of Willard, MO, Amanda Jones and her husband Ricky of Lebanon, MO, Steve Wilmoth and his wife Kara of Ashland, MO, Josh Slover of Springfield, MO, and Gabe Hartwig of St. Louis, MO; one brother, James Christner of Lebanon, MO; one sister, Karla Liles of Lebanon, MO; thirteen grandchildren, Hadlea, Landree, Madisen, Creek, Weston, Aubryn, Logan, Chloe, Sophie, Brodie, Jazlin, Emit and Morgan; his best-friend, Rick Caudle of Lebanon, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. Those preceding him in death include his parents; five siblings; one son, James Slover; and longtime family friend, Sue Gregory. Terry will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
