Terry L. Angles 65 of New Concord passed away Friday September 8, 2023 at Grant Medical center in Columbus. He was born December 17, 1957 in Zanesville a son of the late Danny E. and Norma Jean Moskovitch Angles. He had worked at Armco Steel and Haliburton and served his country in the United States Air Force. Terry was an outdoor guy who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are his brother Danny Angles of Zanesville and his sister Beth Ann Angles Allen of Coshocton. No services will be held at this time. Ruby Marie Garrett Shook, 93 of Blue Rock, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2023 at the Beckett House in New Concord. Ruby was born in Morgan County, Ohio on January 26, 1930. She is the daughter of the late Sidney A. and Emma L. (Darringer) Garrett. She was the first person hired at the Ohio Power Plant in Philo, and she worked there for several years. She also worked for Colonial Flower Shop in Duncan Falls and as the office secretary for Muskingum County Clerk of Courts for many years. She was a member of Solomon Lutheran Church in McConnelsville, Ohio. Ruby was an active and involved person who enjoyed traveling and helping others. Whether it was volunteering for Lutheran Social Services, tutoring for adult literacy, being a voting poll worker, playing piano and organ for her church, teaching Sunday school, sewing dance and Sweet Adelines costumes, a 30 year member of Sweet Adelines, participating in garden club, or attending events of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Ruby enjoyed life. She was so grateful that she lived long enough to watch her great grandchildren grow up. Ruby is survived by her two daughters, Rondah Wilson and Patricia (Bill) Schlosser; her grandchildren, Erin (Jim) Beane, Jessica Wilson and Lindsey Schlosser; her great grandchildren, Cambria and Hannah Beane, Sydney, Adam and Olivia Perrin, and Max Gardner. In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Richard Shook; her son-in-law, Howard Wilson; her brothers, Charles Garrett and Jim Garrett; and her sisters, Vivian Richardson and Carma Kalb. Visitation will be 2 to 6 pm on Friday, December 8, 2023 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Cory E. Cox, 37, of New Concord, died at 6:40 A. M. on Friday, December 1, 2023 due to an automobile accident. He was born November 10, 1986, in Zanesville, a son of Michael E. and Bonnie S. Michael "Mike" S. Richardson went to Heaven on December 3, 2023, following an extended stay at the Beckett House in New Concord. He was born on May 6, 1961 in Guernsey County. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Harold L. Richardson Sr. ; his brother, Harold "JR" L. Richardson; as well as his grandparents, aunts, and uncles. Mike is survived by his mother, Mary Lou (Kiggans) Richardson; his daughter, Allison (Nathan) Bence; his three brothers, Mark Richardson, Matt (April) Richardson, and Mickey (Janna) Richardson; his special nieces and nephews, Kayla (Jerry) Wheeler, Kolt (Kelsey Polen) Richardson, Jordan (Alyssa Turner) Wheeler, Jayde Wheeler, Luke (Lauren) Richardson, Ben Richardson, Marianne Richardson, Lydia Richardson, Ryan Boyer, Lara Richardson, Keely (Tyler) Bond; and many, many friends. Camrian D. Mills, 19 of Zanesville and formerly of New Concord, passed away at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center on November 26, 2023, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Camrian was born on July 24, 2004, in Zanesville. He is the son of Shawn M. and Heather J. (Clark) Myers. He attended John Glenn High School with the class of 2023, and he was active with the choir and swim team. He worked as a lifeguard for the Village of New Concord and he participated in robotics and also the coding club. He enjoyed camping, traveling, and cherished the time he spent in Florida. He previously attended the Chandlersville Church of Christ. He had a love for all animals, especially, his dog Butch. He was a hard working man, who enjoyed working with his hands, and that showed through with his work at Elvira Farms in Zanesville. Most important to Camrian was time spent with his friends, family and the love of his life, Adraina Henning. In addition to his mom and dad, Camrian is survived by Adraina; also his siblings, Christian (Gloria) Mills, Alyssa Mills, Branden Myers, Aliyah (Ethan DiBlasio) Mills; his maternal grandmother, Michele Clark; his paternal grandmother, Ethel Mullins; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Robert "Rob" A. Goffee, 72 of New Concord, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at his residence. Rob was born on October 30, 1951, in Waukegan, Illinois. He is the son of the late James and Velma (Lanning) Goffee. Rob worked for many years caring for individuals with developmental disabilities before retiring. Rob is survived by his wife, Amy (Knight) Goffee; his sons, Roger A. Goffee and Nicholas (Tamina) C. Obituary Melody Ann Barr, 53, of New Concord, passed away Wednesday (October 25, 2023) at her home. She was born November 27, 1969 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Danny Fife and Clara (Davis) Fife. Melody was a member of the Bloomfield United Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker. She loved going on rides down dirt roads and listening to the frogs. Melody enjoyed canning and was famous for her cooking skills, especially her no-bake cookies. She enjoyed planting flowers. She was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Melody loved spending time with her husband, Rick, and cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She always put everybody else's needs before her own. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Morrow; a grandson, Caleb; and two sisters, Theresa Wickem and Connie Trott. Melody is survived by her husband, Rick L. Barr, whom she married July 20, 2013; two daughters, Kyrie Dean of New Concord and Shelton Morrow of New Concord; two stepsons, R. Brian (Michelle) Barr of New Concord and Brandon L. Barr of New Concord; two stepdaughters, Valarie (Mike) Lashley of Norwich and Caralee (Ben) Settles of Zanesville; a brother, Carlos "Bud" (Brenda) Stillion of Walhonding; five grandchildren, Dakota, Aiden, Braylin, Bryker, and Brynxli "Mess"; twelve stepgrandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, & cousins. Visitation will be held Sunday (October 29, 2023) from 2 p. m. to 4 p. m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. Janice Maureen (Broemson) Baldwin, 69, passed away on September 21, 2023, in New Concord, Ohio. She was born on December 16, 1953. Janice was a kind, loving, and happy person who touched the lives of many and loved her family. Janice is survived by her sisters, Brenda Craver (Don) and Carri (Mark) Kornetti; brothers, Allen "Buzz" (Arleen) Broemson and Lee (Rose) Broemson; daughter Bethanie (Chad) Campbell and granddaughters Addy, Alivia, and Emilia; daughter Charla Baldwin (Ronald "Dean") and granddaughters Elizabeth and Emily. Shirley Marie Repasky, age 83, of New Concord, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023. She was born on August 10, 1940, in Adamsville, to the late Charles J. and Sara Mae (Fitzgerald) Fliger. Shirley graduated from Adamsville High School in 1959, and in 1964, she married Jerry Lee Repasky who passed away on January 20, 2003. She was a sewer at Ansel Edmonts for many years and worked in Housekeeping at Genesis before retiring. Shirley was a member of New Hope Lutheran Church in Adamsville. She enjoyed sewing, raising sheep and going to sheep shows, attending the fair and spending time with her Amish friends. Shirley is survived by her three children, Susan Cullins of New Concord, Jeff Repasky of Minnesota , and Sheila (Mike) Baker of Coshocton; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and her Aunt, Clarabelle Parks of Conesville. Along with her parents and husband, Shirley is preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Tracey Lee; brother, Larry Fliger, Uncle, Shortie Parks; her close friend, Jim Wright and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Joseph "Joe" W. Crawford III, 75 of New Concord, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born on February 16, 1948 in Zanesville, Ohio. He is the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Gillogly) Crawford II. He was the oldest of eight siblings. Joe worked at Lacey Brothers John Deere and Adams Well Service before owning his own business and working as a mechanic for thirty plus years. Joe's passion in life was dirt track racing. Joe worked on both of his son's race cars and spent many weekends at the dirt track. When he wasn't at the races, he was spending his free time watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren's sporting events. Joe also loved hunting and fishing with his family. Joe is survived by his devoted wife of fifty-eight years, Cheryl (Menzie) Crawford, whom he married on December 9, 1964; his two sons, Kevin Crawford and Korey Crawford; his grandchildren, Marli (Nate) Jakubisin, Laine (Katelyn) Crawford, Haley (Trevor Gibson) Crawford, and Chase Crawford; his great-grandchildren, Easton, Mason, Emmy, Benson, and baby Gibson due in December; his siblings, Danny (Janet) Crawford, Ray (Mindy) Crawford, Ted Crawford, Tom (Karen) Crawford, and Helen Crawford; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
