Terri Waits Hancock 62, of Smithfield, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019. She was truly dedicated to her husband, daughter, grandchildren and siblings. Terri was passionate about cooking and loved karaoke nights. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church and worked at Ridge Behavioral Health Systems. Preceding her in death were her parents James W. Sr. and Carolyn Waits; brother, James W. Waits Jr. Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Randy Hancock; daughter, Stacey Hancock; grandchildren, Brandon, Adam, Chandler "CJ"and Mollee Hancock; siblings, Danny Waits (Wendy), Todd Waits (Nikki), Vicki Knight, Mona Roberts (Gary) and Beverly Dykes (Gary). A Celebration of life will be conducted at 11 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation from 4-8 PM on Friday.
