Teri Lee Alexander, 68, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Shawnee. She was born October 14, 1953 to James and Ruth (Green) Mynatt in Chicago, Illinois. Teri was raised in Chicago and moved to Tecumseh in 1978 where she has lived since. She worked as a nutritionist for Mission Hill Hospital and Unity South in Shawnee, and St. Anthony Hospital in Seminole. Teri enjoyed reading crossword puzzles, gardening, nature and animals. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Elizabeth "Diane" Mynatt and Jeanne Marie Valencia; son-in-law, Doug Lenhart; April's father, James McDonald; and Anna's father, Larry Alexander. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, April McDonald of Tecumseh, OK and Anna and Kevin Billins of McLoud, OK; two grandsons, Liam Billins and Luke Billins; nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends; and her fur baby, Cinderella Alexander. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p. m. , Friday, June 24, 2022 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clint Dawkins, Sharon Baptist Church officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
