Terese Yvetta Ghost Dog was born on August 2, 1974 in Pine Ridge, SD to Donald Yellow Horse and Marilyn Ghost Dog. Terese made her journey to the Spirit World on May 6, 2023 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD. Terese is survived by her children, Samantha Ghost Dog of Arizona, Jesse Ghost Dog of Rushville, NE, Savannah Ghost Dog, Drayonne Backward, and Taequinn Backward all of Rapid City, SD; father, Donald Yellow Horse; hunka dad, Wade Broken Nose; grandchildren, David "DJ" Belcarris, Romiah Gibbons, Leoncio Gibbons, Demar, Aubriana, & Maggie May Ghost Dog; siblings, Mel, Myron, and Duane Ghost Dog and Michael, Donald, John, and Darris Yellow Horse; aunt, Audrey Ghost Dog; Ann & Ernie Armstrong; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Terese was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Ghost Dog Cree; grandmother, Rosemond Theresa Broken Nose; grandfather, Ralph Ghost Dog; brother, Donnie Ghost Dog; and children, Ladainian Ghost Dog, Drennan Ghost Dog, and Lolainia Ghost Dog.
