Teresa Wood Obituary

"With deep sadness, we are mourning the passing of Teresa "Terry" Yvonne Page Wood of Hampstead, NC, formerly of Topsail Island. Terry spent the last 33 years alongside her devoted and loving partner, Mark Merritt, owner of Mark Merritt Plumbing of Surf City. She primarily worked in the restaurant and service industry until she stopped to devote her time to raising her three grandsons. Terry had a knack for home decorating and was an exquisite cook. She enjoyed hosting gatherings, porch sitting, and sharing stories over a cup of coffee. Terry is also survived by her two sons, Trevis Hunter Wood and Seth Dylan Wood, both of Virginia, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and her 2 sisters, Annette Gibson and Roslyn Miller, also of Virginia. She was predeceased by her parents William Dean Page, Sr. and Rose Ann Hogsett Page, and her brother William Dean Page, Jr. A private memorial service will be planned at a later date. "
