Taryn Lesley Jones (August 22, 1978 - April 6, 2023)Taryn Lesley Jones, beloved daughter, fiance, sister and aunt passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday, April 6, 2023. Taryn was born August 22, 1978 to Eric and Tamara Jones in Xenia, Ohio. She lived in West Chester, Ohio with her fiance, Eric Wolfe. She is survived by her parents Eric and Tamara Jones (Xenia, Ohio), fiance Eric Wolfe (West Chester, Ohio), brother Bret Jones (Michelle Bogan) and nephew Bret Eric Jones, Jr. of Xenia. Taryn also leaves behind uncles, aunts and cousins living in Ohio and Arizona, and a number of close friends. Taryn is preceded in death by her brother, Devin Jones, her grandmother, Verdell Jones, and grandparents Harold and Jean Haggard aunt, Sheryl Haggard and cousin, Lindsey Eastridge. Taryn graduated from Wright State University with a B. S. in Business and Administration - Management Information Systems. She was employed as a Field Operations Manager/Training and Education Mentor/Community Manager at Resource. She received many performance awards during her time at Resource. Taryn was an outstanding soccer player, playing for Xenia High School and Wright State University. Her senior year in high school, she was named All-Area Player of the Year as well as All-Ohio First Team. Her senior year at Wright State University, she was named Wright State University's NCAA Woman of the Year. Taryn's love and laughter will be missed by so many. She had just returned from a vacation in San Diego with Eric Wolfe, who proposed to her during this time. He has helped be her guiding light for the last several years, watching over her and helping her through her pain and fatigue. The family will forever be blessed they found each other. Taryn enjoyed being "Aunt Taryn" to her 2-year-old nephew, Bret Eric Jones, Jr. She spoiled him with many "care" packages because she loved to shop for him. There has been an outpouring of kindness and support from so many showing love and compassion to the family and Eric Wolfe. Taryn was a light in our lives. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Best Friends Animal Society or to the Sjogrens Foundation. Celebration of Taryn's life will be held 5:30 PM Tuesday, April 18th at McColaugh Funeral Home, 826 N. Detroit St. , Xenia with her uncle, Mark Haggard officiating.
