Sylvia "Kathy" Kathleen Grant of Osceola, Wisconsin passed peacefully at home on February 6, 2019 at the age of 75. Kathy was born in Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada on May 15, 1943 to Hans and Elizabeth Hurum. Kathy grew up in Kapuskasing and graduated from High School in 1961. She married Roland Grant, Sr. on August 30, 1963. To this union a son was born, Roland Grant Jr. Kathy's hobbies included quilting, reading, and travelling. She enjoyed spending time at her property up north. Kathy was an EMT for the Osceola Ambulance Service for 14 years and served as Director for a portion of that time. Kathy also collaborated on the book, "Osceola- A Village Chronicle". She worked as a chief financial officer for Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Highland Park, where she made many lifelong friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband Roland and parents Hans and Elizabeth. She is survived by her son Roland (Karen) Grant of Osceola; grandsons Connor and Carter Grant; sisters Margie (Bob) Gauthier of Kitchener, Ontario and Debbie Gauthier of Brampton, Ontario; sisters-in-law Gayle (Norm) Bellanger-Milford, New Hampshire and Karen Jarest-Milford, New Hampshire and many nieces and nephews.
