Ivyee Lyn Hattie Miller Ivyee Miller was born on April 30, 1996, in Long Beach, California. She passed away at age 27 on November 24, 2023 in Austin, Texas with family by her side. Ivyee will be remembered for her tender heart, for her expressive laugh, and for being down to earth. She was beautiful inside and out, and while often soft-spoken, she also had strength within to be her own person. She was a loyal daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She deeply loved her family above all. During her early years, she lived primarily in the Long Beach, California area. As a child, she loved playing with her younger sister and lifelong best friend Gabriella, spending time with her older sisters Larissa and Corinne and her extended family, doing arts and crafts, going to the beach and parks, and baking and cooking with her grandmother. She loved going to Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland. She played soccer in elementary school. She attended middle school and high school in Santa Monica, California. There she took up modern & jazz dance. She developed an affinity for horror movies and reality TV shows as a teen, but loved to watch anything that made her laugh. She liked rap music, and even wrote some rhymes. She was very witty and developed a dry sense of humor, almost testing others to see if they were listening. As a young adult, she was interested in a career in teaching and had even researched the mortuary sciences. She moved to the Indianapolis, Indiana area after high school. She worked at a restaurant and took courses at a community college. She loved her restaurant job, had fun with her co-workers, and made good friends. She liked several EDM (electronic dance music) genres and would love to dance at rave events. Throughout her life, she loved spending time outdoors but mostly at the beach. Ivyee was never happier than when she was spending time with her family. She wanted nothing more than to be with the people she loved and who loved her. Ivyee is survived by her father James, her stepmother Monica, her younger sister Gabriella and nephew Arthur, her older sisters Larissa and Corinne, her grandparents Ed and Vivian Jewett, and her grandparents Lyn and Karl Huber.
