Steven Howard Sr. age 58 of Bethlehem passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at his home. Steven was born in New York City, NY on June 15, 1960, son of Edward and Julia (Escalera) Howard Jacksonville, FL. He was the husband of Darlene (Lamb) Howard. Steven had worked as a Traffic Agent for the New York City Police Department in New York City for 25 years until retiring in 2005. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the NYPD Retirees. We have been blessed with the presence of Steven in our lives. In addition to his wife Darlene and his parents Edward and Julia, he is survived by two daughters: Kalimah Viola Hardy; Shawnell Kia Howard and five sons: Omar Richard Hardy, Steven Michael Howard Jr., Sean Christopher Howard, Devon Rendell Howard and Isaiah Richmond Howard all of Effort, PA. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Omar Richard Hardy Jr., Gianna Marie Howard and Sanai Darlene Hardy; a sister: Nadine Howard and a brother: Timothy Howard both of Jacksonville, FL and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. A Memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 10th at 3 PM with Rev. Felicia Barwell officiating.
