She was the daughter of Orville and Erma M. (Brigener) Albin. She first met Snowden Lemuel Eisenhour on June 12, 1954; Helen always considered Snowden as an answer to her prayers as he did for her. They were married on June 16, 1957, in Erastus, OH. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Snowden Eisenhour of Charlston, IL, two sons, Ronald Eisenhour and his wife Cynthia of West Blomfield, MI, and John Eisenhour and his wife Karen of Charleston, IL, three grandchildren, Daniel Eisenhour and his wife Melissa of AZ, Rachel (Eisenhour) Gallegos and her husband Daniel of MI, and Lindsey Eisenhour of MI, and one brother, Paul Albin and his wife Carol of Westchester, OH. She started playing piano when she was very young. She played the piano in her high school orchestra. She also played for many church functions as well as all different types of celebrations. She taught piano lessons for many years. She was very proficient at playing classical arrangements, Chopin’s Polonaise in A Major was among one of her favorites. Helen was very creative and enjoyed decorating their home, always making sure it was warm, welcoming, and inviting, especially for the holidays. She was an excellent cook, sometimes too good; Snowden recalls not too many years ago weighing over 200 lbs (which was a little much for someone of his build, he said smiling). Helen was also known for a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by everyone. She was very quick-witted and always enjoyed talking with her friends. She had a wonderful laugh and smile that lit up a room and everyone around her always had a good time. Her greatest joy in life simply came from being a wife, mother, and grandmother.
