Steven Paul Dionne, 71, of Ludlow passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday April 22, 2019. Born in Springfield to the late Roger and Dorothy (David) Dionne he worked for Baystate Gas for 40 years. Steven served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict, he was a proud member of the Ludlow Elks where he enjoyed playing cards. He also enjoyed playing cards with his longtime friends. He cherished summer vacations in Maine with his wife, son's family and beloved grandchildren. He enjoyed trips with his wife and daughter's family to Cape Cod and going to the movies with his brother and sister. He leaves his beloved wife of 48 years Sandra (Klinkowski) Dionne of Ludlow; loving children Nikki Gleason and her husband Tim of Monson, Jason Dionne and his wife Katie of Wales; adored grandchildren Karissa and Hailey Dionne; his caring brother Gary Dionne and his wife Patricia and his caring sister Lynn Alves; also his niece Rachel Dionne and his nephew Bryan Alves and wife Suzanne. Steve was a longtime parishioner at St. Elizabeth Parish in Ludlow. Services with Military Honors will be held on Monday April 29, 2019 at Ludlow Funeral Home.
