Stanley (Duke) Phillips, a lifelong resident of Yonkers, NY passed away on June 20, 2022 at the age of 91. He was a man of faith and a devout parishioner of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Mt Vernon, NY. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, gardening, the Yankees, playing the harmonica, and listening to his children play music and sing. Above all, Duke loved his wife Monica, and his entire family. He was the devoted father of Stephen, Michael (Heidi), Glenn (Kristine), Daniel, Tracy (Michael) Quadagno, and John. He was the cherished grandfather of Danny, Jackie, Marie, Charlie, Jenna, Ben, Kevin & Sydney Phillips and Jessie, Jake and Brendan Quadagno. Duke was predeceased by his wife Monica, sons, Daniel and Michael Phillips and sisters, Florence Malanga and Helen Cogan. Duke set an example of how to live life with faith, honor, and decency. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Duke was a father figure to many outside his own family who have through the years expressed their gratitude for his guidance, camaraderie and love. This was the true testament to his character.
