Stanley R. Herring 55 took his final rest peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 15,2023, at Vassar Brother's Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Stanley was born on June 25,1967 in Newburgh NY to Etheleen and Napoleon Herring. Stanley attended Newburgh City Schools. During his life here on earth Stanley enjoyed most spending time with family and friends he valued family He was passionate about music and dj-ing you would always see Stanley listening to music or playing his gaming system he loved gaming and meeting new people on there he also loved shopping he was an avid collector of sneakers he loved his sneakers and to dress nice he took pride in how he dressed Stanley had such a big heart and that's what people loved most about him his jokes his smile he always had a wise word for someone to lift them up or give advice everyone loved and respected him. Stanley is survived by his wife Honee Mikel(Poughkeepsie),5 children, Patricia Williams (Beacon), Shaquell Herring (Poughkeepsie), Breasia Herring (Poughkeepsie), Christian Herring(Poughkeepsie), Ashley Herring (Poughkeepsie), Stepson Xayvion Mikel(Poughkeepsie), 2 Grandchildren A'Miera& A'zur Herring (Newburgh), 6 siblings, David Jacobs(NorthCarolina),Nathan Herring & wife Victoria(North Carolina), Elizabeth Herring (Newburgh), Paul Herring ( North Carolina), Napoleon Baker Herring(North Carolina), Faye Herring(Newburgh). He is predeceased by his older brother William Herring, 3 special God sons Robert McCollum Jr. (Beacon), Josiah Mallory (Poughkeepsie), Aiden Cummings (Poughkeepsie) Stanley also leaves to cherish his memory his best friend Kesha Mallory, a host of uncles, cousins, aunts, nieces, and nephews and friends. He is predeceased in death by his parents, his son Christopher Johnson and his maternal Grandmother Mary Jacobs. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 10AM-11AM at the William G. Miller & Son FH, Inc. , 371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Home going service will begin at 11AM at the Funeral Home. The Burial will immediately follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery & Mausoleum, 5468 Route 9W North, Newburgh, NY 12550. Arrangements are under the direction of the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc.
