St. Lillie McCauley Alexander, 73, of Sybbie St., Concord NC, passed away Friday, April 19, at University Hospital in Charlotte, NC. She was born March 2, 1946 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late John Frank McCauley, Sr. and the late Julia Barringer McCauley. Lillie was a graduate of Logan High School and Rowan Technical College. She was formerly employed by Draymore Curtain Manufacturing. Lillie was a member of the United House of Prayer for All People - Mallard Creek, where she served as one of the Original Sweet River Singers, United Ushers, Christian Workers and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 31. Services will be held Saturday, April 27, at the United House of Prayer for All People - Mallard Creek, 1739 Grace Lane, Charlotte, NC. Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 PM with funeral services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Geraldine Knox, Helen Young, Mary Flowe; two brothers, John Walter McCauley, Frank McCauley and grandson, Shar-Dezman Parks Those left to cherish fond memories include two daughters, Pamela Alexander of Concord, Latessa Parks Grant (Roland) of Kannapolis, son, Demond Antonio Parks, Sr. (Angela) of Kannapolis; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sibbie McCauley Cannon, Clara McCauley Hall (Amos) both of Concord; brother Saint Deacon Charles McCauley, Sr. (Maria) of Concord; aunts, Dorothy McCauley, Helen McCauley; special son-in-law Elder Anthony Brown; special brother, Apostle James Mangum; special sisters, Elfreda Mangum, Marie Webb; sisters-in-law, Gaynell McCauley, Ruby McCauley, Angela McCauley god-brother, Apostle E.
