SSG Felipe Garcia, 73, died Friday, April 21, 2023. Visitation will be 9 AM until 9 PM Thursday with a vigil service at 7 PM at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral mass will 10 AM Friday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Felipe was born on April 4, 1950 in Big Spring, TX to Annabelle & David Garcia. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He was a lifetime resident of Big Spring expect for 20 years when he was in the U. S. Army, he spent most of his time at Ft. Bliss and in Germany. After he retirement from the army he worked at M. H & M. R. He loved music, dancing, Dallas Cowboys, but most of all time with his grandchildren. Felipe is survived by his wife: Angie Garcia of Big Spring; 7 children: Angelita Renninger (Heath) of Easton, PA, Phillip Garcia (Valentina) of California, Jason Walton (Michael) of San Antonio, Ivy Martinez, Eve Martinez, Natalie Martinez, & Mason Martinez; 7 brothers & sisters: Dolores Hernandez (Oscar) of Big Spring, Susie Blazewski (Larry) of Chicago, Ernest Garcia of Big Spring, Paul Garcia (Estella) of San Antonio, George Garcia (Yolanda) of Midland, Robert Garcia (Denise) of Carlsbad, NM, & Larry Garcia (Cynthia) of Big Spring. Felipe was preceded in death by his mother: Annabelle Garcia; father: David Garcia; 2 brothers: David Garcia, Jr. & Tony Garcia; and 1 sister: Lucy Thorpe.
