Obituary of Socorro Avila Hernandez Socorro Avila Hernandez was born November 16, 1986 in Acapulco Guerrero, Mexico, to Inocencia Romana Hernandez Castro and Juan Avila Salazar. Socorro later moved to Atlantic City where she made a home with Lenin Perez Garcia and her two sons, Oscar Cortez Avila and Lenin Perez Avila. She was employed by Dock's Oyster House, Atlantic City, New Jersey in the Environmental Services Department She is survived by: her parents; children; her loving companion, Lenin Perez Garcia; and a host of other family and friends. A visitation will be from 4PM - 6PM, Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Greenidge Funeral Homes, 301 Absecon Boulevard, Atlantic City, New Jersey, where friends may call prior to services in Acapulco Guerrero, Mexico. The family requests donations for an educational fund for Socorro sons, Oscar and Lenin, by clicking on the RED dontate button at the bottom of this screen .
