Simon Gongora Obituary

Simon Gongora, age 95, of Texas City, Texas passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. He was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico on October 28, 1927 to Roman Gongora and Maria De La Luz Garcia. He was married to Concepcion Perez Gongora for 44 years. Simona Gongora had a career in industrial painting for Firks Exhibition. He was preceded in death by his parents, his six siblings, and his wife. He is survived by son Simon, Jr. and his wife; son Pedro; daughter Ruth and her husband; 7 grandchildren and their spouses; 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm. On Tuesday, April 25, 2023 services will begin at 10:00 am and committal to conclude. All services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home and Cemetery located at 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas. Fond memories and condolences can be shared below for the family.
