Shonnie Pauline Taylor, 45, of Idaho Falls, passed away on November 28, 2023, at her home. She was under the care of her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. Friday, December 8, 2023, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends from 10-10:45 a. m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery. A full obituary will be posted once it becomes available.

Ina Jane Olsen Snell, 84 ,passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Fairwinds-Sand Creek Retirement Community in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was under the care of Solace Hospice. She was born January 2, 1940, in Basin, Wyoming, to Delbert M. Olsen and Lydia Althea Dustin Olsen. She married Golden C. Snell Jr. July 10, 1959, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Together they had five sons, Barry (DaLea Olsen, Greg (Colleen) Olsen, Quinn (Kristen) Olsen, Sam (Emily) Olsen, and Dustin (Christine) Olsen. After Ina and Golden were married, they attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Barry and Greg were born there. After graduation, Golden and Ina moved to Byron, Wyoming, where Golden taught at Byron High School for 7 years. While living in Byron, Quinn was born. In June of 1969, they moved to Rexburg, Idaho, where Golden taught Spanish at Ricks College. Sam and Dustin were born there while living in Rexburg. Ina enjoyed teaching piano in her home for several years. She was later employed at Ricks College in the registrar office. She was also secretary for the Math Department. She served as ward organist for many years in the Rexburg 11th Ward. She also served in the Stake Young Women's presidency. In 2003, Golden and Ina served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints in Panama for 18 months. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, and needlepoint. In the 1980's, Golden and Ina joined a motorcycle gang which included many of their friends. They logged many miles and many good times. She is preceded in death by her parents; all of her 6 siblings; and her husband, Golden, who passed away in May 2013. Ina has 25 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Rexburg 12th Ward, 700 Park Street, Rexburg, Idaho. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior at the church. Burial will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.

Lynda Ann Hoffman, 65, of Big Piney, Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.Lynda was born on July 8, 1958, in Modesto, California to William I. Hooper and Rita Ann. Lynda grew up in California, and on November 9, 1996, she married John Hoffman in Oregon.She was a loving friend, wife, companion, and friend to all who knew her.Lynda is survived by her husband John Hoffman of Big Piney, Wyoming, her son Jason Hooper of Cheyenne, Wyoming, her stepson Hennery Hoffman of Big Piney, Wyoming, her brothers; Jimmie Hooper and Donald Hooper both of Colorado, Gene Hooper of Arizona, Danny Hooper of Oregon, and John Hooper of Wyoming, her sisters; Sherry Hooper of Colorado, and Jennifer Baites of Alaska and1 grandchild.Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Cremation was under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls. Mildred Evelyne Boyce, 91, of Idaho Falls, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Lincoln Court Retirement Community. She was under the care of One Source Home Health and Hospice.Mildred was born on January 20, 1933, in Monroe, Connecticut, and was the daughter of Hans E. Dineson, Sr., founder of The Electric Heater Company in Stratford, and his wife, Bessie G. Reynolds Dineson. She graduated from Bassik High School in 1950 and served in various positions in the local music societies, Rainbow Girls, and activities through Monroe Congregational Church.On November 25, 1950, she married John Robert (Bob) Boyce during a hurricane!They soon moved to Fairfield, Connecticut where they raised two daughters, were charter members of Fairfield-Grace United Methodist Church, and were instrumental in fundraising for the church buildings and ministries. Mildred was also a member of the Mary Silliman Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as the Eastern Star. She worked for Charles P. Stetson, a Westport stockbroker, for over 25 years.Mildred and Bob retired to Sequim, Washington in 1990, making new friends and enjoying the beauty of the northwest. Once again, they joined the sanctuary building fundraising events for Sequim United Methodist Church. Mildred sang in the church choir, as well as other community choirs on the Olympic Peninsula.After Bob’s passing in 2014, Mildred moved to Lincoln Court Retirement Community in Idaho Falls, Idaho to be closer to her daughter, Lila.She is survived by her daughters: Ruth Elin Drossel of Simi Valley, California and Lila B. Wheatley of Etna, Wyoming; grandsons: Erich H. (Lauren) Drossel of Portland, Oregon and Patrick L. (Megan) Drossel of Canon City, Colorado; and a variety of furry, 4 legged grand and great-grand pets! Mildred is remembered fondly for her love of music, cooking, entertaining, and making lifelong friends wherever she would go.
