HOUTLON - Shirley (Hartman) Spellman, passed away June 13, in Houlton. Born on August 11, 1937, Houlton, the daughter of Benjamin Hartman and Gweneth Johnstone. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and loved by everyone. She is survived by her brother, John Hartman of VT, her sister, Betty Ivey of Houlton, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her stepson Dennis and Donna Green of New Hampshire, her stepdaughter Barbara Rosato of North Carolina, and a very close friend, Ann Jenson of North Carolina. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Clayton Spellman and Her daughter Crystal, who was adored. A devoted Seventh Day Advent and member of the Oakfield Church. A Celebration of life be held on June 23 at 10 a. m. at Bowers Funeral Home 10 Water St. Houlton, followed by an internment at Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton with Pastor Kevin Hatch officiating.
