Shirley Ann Reynolds, 89, of Nashua, NH, passed away, Monday, September 4, 2023, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was born to parents David and Elsie (Dahlquist) Gustafson. She was married to the late Lt. Col. Robert A Reynolds until his passing in September of 1995. Shirley graduated from Central High School in Manchester, NH. She went on to be an office/operations assistant at Granite Fund Raising. Her caring nature made her a volunteer at heart. Shirley volunteered her time to various organizations including Nashua World Cup Soccer and Pilgrim Congregational Church. Besides Shirley's husband, she is predeceased by 5 sisters, 2 brothers and a stepson Gene Reynolds. She is survived by her sister Betty Riley and her husband Charles of Bedford, NH; children, Donna Boerner and her husband Ed of Merrimack, NH, Robert Reynolds Jr. of Rochester, NH, and David Reynolds of Reading, MA; stepchildren, Gregory Reynolds and his wife Brenda of Midland, TX, Pamela Collachi and her husband Ritchie of Navarre, FL, Audrey Reynolds and her husband Bill Sirois of Falmouth, MA; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. SERVICES: A Funeral service will be held Friday, September 15, 2023, at 11 am at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 4 Watson St, Nashua, NH 03064. George Edward Clarke made his journey home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 29, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island on October 14, 1952, to George Clarke Jr. and Joan E. Clarke (Little). He graduated in 1970 from Pilgrim High School, Warwick, RI. He went on to study engineering at Rhode Island Junior College. Growing up on Gaspee Point with his three younger brothers Rick, Kevin, and Bill; he enjoyed spending his days catching eels, digging for clams, and fishing. He maintained his love of the ocean throughout his whole life. George's family will always remember him as the ultimate handyman; there was nothing he couldn't fix. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his son-in-law, Rob, especially when he got his dream motorcycle, a Harley Heritage Softtail. The true source of his pride, however, was his five children and seven grandchildren. For the past seven years, the youngest grandson, Henry (Punkie) was an immense source of joy. George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Joan Clarke, his brother Rick, and his daughter Jane. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Geneveive Clarke of Nashua, NH, his sons Chief Petty Officer (Ret. ) Christopher Clarke (Jennifer) of Portsmouth, RI, Matthew Clarke of Nashua, Michelle Clarke of Tucson, AZ, and Dr. Sarah Clauss (Robert) of Nashua, NH. George was a member of Christ's Church of Amherst, serving as sound technician for many years. He will be terribly missed by his family until they are reunited in Heaven. Stephen P. Bourque, 56, passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. Stephen was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on July 19, 1967 and was the beloved son of the late Richard and Lorraine (Poirier) Bourque. He received his education in the Waltham School System. He has worked at various engineering companies however most recently; he was employed as a server at Oddfellows Brewing Company in Nashua. Stephen was a true artist and had an immense talent for free hand drawing and computer CAD programming designing many mechanical projects and including logos for many local bands. He had a passion for playing his drums and enjoyed playing in bands, jamming with his family and large circle of friends showcasing his abilities. He also tried his hand at acting in some small local production. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family and friends, who he loved deeply. Stephen is survived by his son, Adam Bourque of Colorado; his two siblings, Richard Bourque and his wife Laura of North Billerica, MA, and David Bourque of Quincy, MA. He is also survived by his former wife, Laura Block of Peterborough, NH as well as many friends and extended family members. Valerie Jean (Washington) Garner, passed away peacefully at the age of 74, in her Nashua, New Hampshire residence on Thursday November 2nd, 2023. Valerie was born on June 10th, 1949, to Kenneth Nelson Washington and Bernice Williams of Massachusetts. She is survived by her sisters Kay Livingston and Jan Washington, her half-brother Kevin Washington, a daughter, grandsons Devon and Ezekiel, and her beloved granddaughter Megan Roth. Valerie earned her Master's Degree at American International College and worked as a Special Education teacher in the state of Massachusetts, before moving to New Hampshire and working as a Social Worker for the state, investigating and reporting elder abuse. She loved to travel, solving puzzles, bake, watch local theater, take day trips to Maine and Vermont, read her Bible, and spend time with her sister and brother in-law Kay and Ray Livingston, and granddaughter and grandson in-law Megan and David Roth. Megan, whom Valerie raised from the age of 5, would like to thank Valerie for the sacrifices she made to provide Megan with a wonderful and happy life. Megan and her husband David are thankful that Valerie was able to attend their wedding in August of this year, allowing Kay, Ray, Megan, and David to have one last family gathering with Valerie. William J. Upham, 72, of Nashua, NH, died November 24th, 2023 in his home after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Manchester, NH on November 24th, 1951, he was the son of Roy H. and Aurie (Duplin) Upham. Bill was educated in the Manchester Catholic school system, ultimately graduating from Bishop Bradley High School. He received his Bachelor's degree in mathematics from Saint Anselm College and his Master's degree from The University of New Hampshire, where he was also a Ph. D. candidate in Homological Algebra. Bill taught for a year at Keene State College before transitioning into the software development and computer world. He never fully shed his teaching roots, and helped many people through scholastic and personal pursuits, lighting the spark of discovery in his family, friends, and colleagues. Bill was always inquisitive and curious, and could talk to anyone about anything with genuine interest. He approached his work with profound humility and patience, and took the time to understand any issue before diving into solutions. His easygoing nature brought calm and sanity to any situation, however tense. Bill helped everyone he knew feel acknowledged and heard. Bill took great joy in spending time with his family and friends, with his various interests including mountain biking, kayaking on the Nashua River, gardening, pool, darts, the New York Times crossword, and playing cribbage. Bill taught cribbage to many, and his pupils will forever be heard parroting his favorite cribbage exclamations, like 'everybody loves a five' and 'excellent pegging'. With his wife Fran, Bill reveled in international travel, having visited Egypt, Spain, France, Italy, England, Scotland, Holland, Costa Rica, and many other countries. Bill traveled with his children, drove across the USA, and traveled with the whole family to Poland and the Czech Republic. Ever curious, Bill delighted in learning all he could about the places he visited: reading all the plaques, dressing up for Mardi Gras, and posing with camels and a huge grin. Bill brought joy to all he did. Bill was predeceased by his parents and his infant children, Allison and Joseph Nutter-Upham. Bill is survived by his wife, State Representative Frances Nutter-Upham; a daughter Katherine Eskine, and spouse Kendall Eskine, of Holliston, MA, and their children Benjamin and Neil; a son Andrew Nutter-Upham and spouse Margaret Harrison of Braintree, MA; a daughter Nora Nutter-Upham of Dorchester, MA; and a daughter Cassandra Nutter-Upham and spouse Nasser Abdelnaby of Framingham, MA and Cairo, Egypt. He is also survived by his seven siblings: sister Alice Dunfey and spouse Michael Dunfey of Manchester, NH; brother Charlie Upham and spouse Patricia Upham, of Chichester, NH; brother Jim Upham and Kathy Upham of Venice, FL; sister Barbara Foster and spouse Dave Foster of New London, NH; sister Betty Griffin and spouse Dave Griffin of Berlin, NH; sister Mary Upham and partner Mike Gualtieri of Rutherford, NJ; sister Meg Pfalzgraf and spouse Dave Pfalzgraf of Hooksett, NH. He is also survived by his lifelong friend and brother-in-law Michael Nutter and spouse Julie Gifford Nutter, and an abundance of nieces, nephews, and their children. Rodolphe H. "Rudy" Montminy Jr. , 66, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, November 25, 2023. He is the beloved husband of Tanya M. (Reynolds) Montminy with whom he shared 24 years of marriage. Rudy was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on April 5, 1957 and was the son of the late Rodolphe H. Montminy Sr. and Charlotte A. (Philibotte) Montminy. For many years, he was employed as painter for Mike Mills until his retirement. Rudy was an avid and dedicated Cowboys fan and in his free time enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, playing pool, helping out with his son's youth sports teams and playing dice with his wife. His time was dedicated to our community and he always helped out anyone in need. He was a true handyman and a hard worker, and his family affectionately referred his him as "MacGyver" who could fix absolutely anything. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family who he loved deeply. In addition to his wife, Tanya, he is survived by his four children, Daniel Montminy and his girlfriend Karen Foden of Saugus, MA, Brian Montminy and his girlfriend Kiersten Oliver of Nashua, NH, Ashley Montminy and her boyfriend Austin Krasny of Nashua, NH, and Heather Montminy of Nashua; NH; as well as his grandson on the way. Bernice V. (Bilodeau) Guy, 88, died peacefully in her home on Friday, November 25, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur "Terry" Guy with whom she shared 54 years of marriage prior to his passing on January 22, 2011. Bernice was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on March 9, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Francis and Irene (Callahan) Bilodeau. She received her education in the Waltham School System and was a graduate of St. Charles High School in Waltham. Bernie began her career at Raytheon and later worked along side her husband, Terry, in his businesses. An avid golfer, Bernie enjoyed playing at Nashua CC for many years before moving to Florida where she played at several courses and was involved with a variety of women's golf associations. Her greatest golf experience was in Ireland where she was able to celebrate both her heritage and love for the game! She was a wonderful cook and thoroughly enjoyed entertaining, always impressing her guests with new and delicious recipes. Bernie and her family spent many years skiing at Waterville Valley where she enjoyed days on the slopes while pining for warmer days on the golf course. Bernie became quite skilled at anything she put her mind to, whether it be a home repair or creating stunning clothes and quilts with her incredible sewing talents. She loved to knit as well, crafting beautiful baby gifts and warm, comfy sweaters alike. Bernie was a voracious reader who could have filled an impressive library of her own with the various novels she devoured. In her later years, she treasured afternoon Domino games with her dear friends. She kept her mind sharp with word puzzles and mastering many of the intricacies of her ever-frustrating iPhone. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family who she loved deeply. Bernice is survived by her three children, Diana Hoffman and her husband Ed of Nashua, Jeff Guy and his partner Leslie Justice of Arizona, and Alicia Bianchi and her husband Michael of Nashua; her three grandchildren, Devrie Hoffman, Jared Hoffman and his wife Emilie, and Jillian Bianchi. She is also survived by her brother Larry Bilodeau of Texas and her two nephews, Greg and Shawn Bilodeau and niece Jaqueline Lask and nephew Paul Bilodeau of California. Raymond R. Wiggett, 79, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Denise C. Wiggett until her passing in 2020 after a battle with cancer. Raymond was born on November 8, 1944 and was the son of the late Willard and Francis (Styles) Wiggett. Raymond received his education in Plymouth, NH. He was a member of the graduation class of 1963. Following his graduation, he proudly served in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged in 1969. Ray worked for over 30 years in the printing industry. He was employed at the Royal Business Forms in Nashua, NH and Courier Printing in Westford, MA. Raymond also worked over 25 years in retail. He was employed for more than 20 years at Staples where he filled many positions, eventually retiring in 2017. Ramond is survived by his two children, Heather Marie Wiggett and Steven Charles Wiggett and his wife Pamela; his two grandchildren, Megan and Zachery; his sister Eunice Converse of Rumney, NH; his brother Donald Wiggett and his wife Mary of Holderness, NH. "Ida R. Rossignol, 89, former longtime resident of Litchfield, NH, died at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home on November 16, 2023, after a period of declining health. She was born in Nashua, NH, on July 21, 1934, a daughter of the late Henri and Aurore (Migneault) Boucher and after their deaths was raised by the late Alfred and Lydia Dionne. Ida was raised and educated in Nashua. She married Wilfred Rossignol on November 11, 1954, and had been residents of Litchfield since 1960. She enjoyed raising her family, watching her grandchildren and spending time gardening. She was a devout catholic and was a longtime member of the St. John the Evangelist Parish of Hudson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Wilfred in 2015. Survivors include her loving children and their spouses, Bobby and Dawna Rossignol of Litchfield, NH, Marie and Robert Griswold also of Litchfield, NH, Gloria Griswold of Merrimack, NH and Elaine and George Scanlon of Goffstown, NH, her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Ernest E. Buder Jr. , 80, passed away on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023, at Concord Hospital. He was born in Nashua, the eldest of 4 boys, on December 29th, 1942, to the late Ernest and Grace (Widener) Buder. He had a great affinity for his hometown. Besides his years in the service, Ernie spent his entire life in Nashua. Growing up Ernest received his education in the Nashua School District, graduating with Nashua High class of 1960, with his favorite subject being History. Soon after graduation, Ernie enlisted in the Army in February of 1964. Basic training was completed at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. He served as a clerk during his 18 months in Okinawa, at the Hinoko Army base. Later in his service, Ernie travelled to Vietnam. After his time in service, on the recommendation of an uncle, Ernie became a postman. Sometimes he delivered on foot, sometimes in a truck. He retired from the Nashua Post Office after 30 years. He always enjoyed reading throughout his life. Ernie enjoyed all types of books. From historical, to spy novels, old west to biographies. Ernie came to the New Hampshire Veterans Home. Some of his favorite activities there were Bingo, Pokeno, musical events, cookouts, trivia, and Friday night documentaries. Ernie was also the cool uncle, often taking nieces and nephews out for ice cream and pizza. He was one of the best uncles you could ask for and is part of so many amazing childhood memories for his three nieces. Above all else he enjoyed spending time with his family the most. Ernest is survived by his two brothers, Donald Buder of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Tommy Buder and his wife Rosemary of Merrimack, his three nieces Prudence, Stacy, and Heidi, as well as many great nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Roger Buder.
