Shirley Ann Reif, Branson West, MO, the daughter of Claude and Vica (Richardson) Hines, was born December 11, 1946, in Lebanon, MO, and departed this life on September 7, 2023, at the age of 76. Shirley moved to Branson West, MO, three years ago from Great Bend, KS with her family. She was an avid University of Kansas fan, especially men's basketball, loved spending time with her grandkids and was strong in her Baptist faith. Shirley was an office manager for Petroleum Electric Company in Great Bend, KS for more than 20 years before her retirement. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Vica Hines, and one brother, Ronald D. Hines. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Peak and her husband, Travis of Branson West, MO, one sister, Barbara J. Bliss, Colorado Springs, CO, and two grandchildren, Allison Peak of Jefferson City, MO and Braydan Peak of Branson West, MO. A private Celebration of Life has been held. Michael Clyde McGreevy, a long-term resident of Branson West, MO, peacefully departed this life on December 3, 2023, at the age of 66. Born on August 26, 1957, in Evanston, IL, he was the cherished son of Michael Thomas and Ethel Marie (Buckley) McGreevy, Mike thrived on challenge and dedicated a significant portion of his life to hotel management, showcasing his strong work ethic and commitment to service before embracing a well-deserved retirement. Mike's career crossed multiple states and hotels including the Chateau on the Lake Resort, Branson MO, the Westin, Jackson MS, Walt Disney World Yacht & Beach Club Resort, MGM Studios and Epcot, and several Radisson properties throughout the United States. In 2010, he made Branson West his home after raising his sons in Kissimmee, Florida. A man of faith, Mike attended Praise and Worship Church, Branson West, finding solace and community in his spiritual journey. His passion for sports and mentorship was evident in his lifelong role as a coach for little league baseball, where he positively influenced the lives of many young athletes. Every player was welcomed and treated equally no matter their skill or background. He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael Thomas and Ethel Marie McGreevy of Rockford, IL. Mike was blessed with 43 years of marriage to his devoted wife, Leslie McGreevy of Branson West, MO, and leaves behind a legacy through his two sons; Michael Lee McGreevy of Independence, IA and John Garner McGreevy of Branson West, MO. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by his sister, Heather McGreevy of Libertyville, IL, and his two beloved grandchildren; Lochlan James McGreevy and Freya Marie McGreevy. Mike grew up in Rockford, IL and earned his B. A. at St Johns University Collegeville, MN. In honor of Michael's memory, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Kenneth W. Cutsforth, Branson, MO, son of Harry and Iva (Underwood) Cutsforth, was born October 9, 1940, in New Hampton, IA, and departed this life on November 16, 2023, at the age of 83, peacefully with his wife at his side. Kenneth began working as a truck driver for his father's trucking company while still in high school. After graduation, he went on to serve in the United States Army prior to resuming his truck driving career. He was united in marriage to Susan K. Rupkalvis on May 30, 1981. Together they moved to the Branson area from Cedar Falls, IA, forty years ago. After retirement, Kenneth was able to devote more time to his passion for hunting and fishing. They spent several winters near Winnsboro, TX, allowing him to spend time fishing with some of his closest friends. He was a long-term member of Faith Lutheran Church, Branson, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Iva (Underwood) Cutsforth, sister Lois (Charles) Wentz, and brother Allen (Patricia) Cutsforth. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Susan of Branson, MO, two children; Tim Cutsforth of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Ann (Preston) Miles of West Des Moines, IA, two grandchildren; Benjamin and Marcus Miles, his brother; David (Virginia) Cutsforth, and many nieces and nephews. Rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.
