Shirley Jean Hall, 84, of Dudley, PA; passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehab at Donahoe. She was born on December 6, 1937 in Bedford, PA; a daughter of the late John and Arvella (Miller) Kagarise. On September 7, 1957 in Cumberland, Maryland she was united in marriage to Melvin L. Hall. He preceded her in death on January 15, 2020. She is survived by children Leroy Hall married to Stacey, Six Mile Run, PA; Gary Hall married to Beth, Martinsburg, PA; Emerson Hall, Dudley, PA; Shirley Lohr married to Joe, New Paris, PA and Wayne Hall married to Jennifer, Saxton, PA; twenty grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and a great grandson and a great granddaughter on the way. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by children Fred Hall, Ethel Risbon and Nancy Smith. Shirley spent her working years taking care of her home and children. She was affiliated with the Raystown Brethren Church and enjoyed puzzlebooks, word searches, playing cards, sewing and baking. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton, PA from 10:00 A. M. until the hour of service at The Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Akers Funeral Chapel with Pastor Alfred Chamberlain officiating. Burial will take place at Yellow Creek Reformed Cemetery.
