Shirley Dempsey was a wonderful, sweet, helpful, thoughtful lady that would do what ever she could for any one who asked. She was a devout Christian and followed her faith throughout her life. Shirley wasa beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Shirley was a native Houstonian and grew up at Broadway Baptist Church and graduated from Miley High School in 1971. Shirley earned her Cosmetology license after high school, she also worked for several companies in Houston and Dallas until her health began to decline. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents JD & Clara Lorene Caudle, brother Donald Gail Caudle, grand parents. She is survived in life by husband of over 30 years Robert Wayne Curl, daughter Kelly Dianne Dempsey, brother William Darryl Caudle, sister-in-law Jenise Hamby Caudle, nephew Jonathan Darryl Caudle, grandchildren and great grand children, cousins and friends.
