Sherry Hunt Obituary

On September 4, 2023, Sherry A. Hunt, age 57, of York, passed away peacefully at Highland Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Sherry is survived by her mother, Beverly Scondras; her dad, Peter (Sara) Scondras; children, Ryan Rawleigh and Devynn Rawleigh (Patrick Norton); siblings, Dawnielle Derrick, Dean Derrick, Jodi Scondras, George Scondras, and David Scondras; grandchildren, Calliope Norton and Bentley Norton; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Sherry was born August 1, 1966 in Warsaw, New York. She was known for her crafting and cooking skills, and dedication to her job at Pioneer Credit Recovery. Sherry was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved her dog, Max. Sherry's family would like to send a special thank you to the incredible staff at the UR Medicine Palliative Care Center at Highland Hospital for their compassion and care. They would also like to thank her amazing friends for their love and support, and for making sure she was never alone in her final days.
