Bonita was the Matriarch of the family and kept everyone connected. Family was everything to her!Bonita was the life of the party: she was always ready to 'turn up!" She was not just a vibe; she WAS the vibe!"Nita" as her family and friends lovingly called her, worked at Verizon for many years before being employed in Denton ISD's Special Education Department. Her role in the department would continue to cultivate her passion for students as she transitioned to the University of North Texas, as the Secretary for the Mean Green Basketball Department. In this role, she found her true joy; being able to mentor players and many other college students on campus. In addition to her own children who were now in college, Bonita would encourage and motivate students on campus.
