Sharon Yates Obituary

Sharon R. Yates, 77, of Clinton, passed away on Saturday May 6, 2023, at Union Hospital in Clinton. She was born in Clinton on August 18, 1945, to Edward "Ned" Taylor and Esther Steffey Taylor. Sharon is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Edward Taylor. Those surviving are her son Eric Yates (Maria) of Clinton, daughter Dawn Renee Yates of Clinton, sisters Connie Stevens of Clinton and Vickie Huston of Sullivan; sister-in-law Judy Taylor of Florida; added family Teresa Setzer of Mattoon, IL. , and Pamela McFall of Clinton; grandchildren Desire Yates, Kaid Yates, Kathleen Yates, Anthony Yates, Eric Yates Jr. , special added grandchildren Mason Hadammek, Bonnie Bellinger, and Richard Scott Setzer; great granddaughter Stella Michele Rose Yates. Also surviving are her nephew Brian Stevens (Jen), niece Staci Foster (Gary), great nephews Payton and Parker Stevens, and Welker Stevens, and great niece Lakynn Stevens. Sharon was a member of Lyford Bible Church. Visitation will be held at First Funeral Home on Thursday May 11, 2023, from 11:00 A. M. until service time at 1:00 P. M.
